This is a horror story. These poor woman had been tied and chained up. These kidnappers are the darkest side of humanity.
This isn't an uncommon story anymore. There have been several instances of women being found tied up for years....If we banned chains and ropes, crimes like this can be prevented.

I can't believe he acted without police permission. That was a job for the SWAT team, not the average mundane. This man put the lives of these girls and his neighbors at risk by breaking down this door and rescuing this girl. This could have turned out MUCH MUCH worse. There should be a law banning such independent citizen action. That house should have been riddled with bullets and burned down by police before the rescue.

It must be so difficult for the parents of these girls. Once a year goes by, you must come to the conclusion that your daughter is most likely dead. Soon the scum who held these women will be behind bars themselves, hopefully for the rest of their life.
