Thank goodness he had a gun !!!!!!!!!!
YUP!
This guy in his 70's shot the intruder with a handgun.  NO assault weapon necessary!

the gun(no matter what kind) is the assault weapon....if he had used a toaster to smash his head in, the toaster would
have been the assault weapon...however, really looking at it and not compartmentalizing it, the HUMAN is the assault
weapon using a tool....

see...assault weapon is for military difference...training a soldier to think their gun is the assault weapon instead of them
selves is called brainwashing and making a 3rd party....

Cain used a rock

all kinds of legal mumbo jumbo to change reality, of course depending on what arena one is in.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Just curious Senders... you post quite often about what goes on in the US Military... did you ever
serve?

A LOT of study...

just like drugs in medicine are labeled differently than drugs on the street.

the same goes for labels in military and labels in civilian arenas.

if I shoot you with a pistol is it considered an assault weapon? not in the military. it's just a gun. however, ALL guns
are assault weapons which add a layer of 'no responsibility of action' because it was an assault weapon...

there is no logic in the argument debating assault weapons as to what isn't an assault weapon....

but you must admit it sounds cool when one gets to say at a political podium:

"military style assault rifle killed a bunch of little kids"....WRONG WRONG WRONG...the guy with the guns killed them...

even if he used a six shooter and 'only killed' 6 would it have been more palatable?????

Lots of words for a simple 'yes' or 'no'.  But no real answer.
That's why I don't read most of his posts... they go nowhere.

OK.  Now I know why you seem to have such bizarre views on the military.
Straight from a song lyrics.
Great source!

I served in the Marines... but that doesn't mean that I trust everything done by the military.
You make assumptions based on your agenda, as if that had some bearing on my views.

Then why do you trust everything done by law enforcement or the government? Or is it just all glorious under a democrap prez? When it was Bush, then it was all terrible. Just like the ACLU trying so hard with the Sleeze of Women Vultures in their attempt to get rid of Patriot Act then, but now zzzzzzzzzzzzz... one can hear nothing but the crickets

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

just like you....I read what you write because you want me to and I process that info just like you....you think
I'm a righty....wrong....but then again, you don't have to explain yourself and I don't have to explain myself...we have
the issues that we discuss...and right now I'm discussing the difference of the use of the obfuscating term
'assault weapon'....what do the marines define as an assault weapon?

I have no agenda....just questions
