Americans are notoriously fickle. Three separate times while he was president, George W. Bush’s approval rating plummeted to 25 percent. This, of course, was the same president whose approval rating soared to 90 percent after the 9/11 attacks.
As Bush’s helicopter lifted off the U.S. Capitol grounds for his return to Texas after Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration in January 2009, only one in three Americans approved of his performance as president.

Bush claims he never worries about polls or the judgment of history. When journalist Bob Woodward asked him in 2003 how history would judge the Iraq war, Bush declined to take the bait. “History. We don’t know. We’ll all be dead,” he said.
As they often do with polarizing politicians, people have mellowed toward Bush. Nearly half of adults now approve of the way he handled his job as president. While about three in four Democrats still disapprove, that’s down from the nine in 10 Democrats who disapproved in 2008 of the way he did his job.  Bush’s approval rating overall equals Obama’s, the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll reported Tuesday. Such are the power of silence and absence.

Thought you didn't believe in polls????
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57580906/poll-george-w-bushs-approval-rating-matches-obamas/

"Forty-seven percent of Americans say they now approve of the former president, while 53 percent disapprove,
according to the poll, which surveyed 1,000 adults from April 17-21.
Mr. Obama's approval rating also stands at 47 percent."
1,000 adults surveyed....now that's a great sampling!

"While his approval rating has increased in recent years, a majority of Americans (53 percent)
still disapprove of his handling of the economy, and 57 percent disapprove of his decision to invade Iraq in 2003
."

Doesn't sound as appealing as you made it out to be, is it????

What I said was that I don't base my personal opinions on public opinion polls and that the results of a poll don't prove that something is true or not.

I have always liked the Bush family.  I supported George H.W. Bush way back in 1980 when he ran in the G.O.P. primary.  I had the privilege of meeting him when he came to Schenectady during the very early primary  season.  The Bush family has produced 2 good presidents and will may (will IMHO) have at least another couple of presidents.

Finally, I just thought it was interesting that even though the left-wing nuts and mindless nayboobs keep bashing George W. Bush there are some polls that show he is held in favorable light by Americans.

But it was only 1,000 people...that is about as far from a honest evaluation of
the Aermcian opinion as you can get!!!  So IMHO, the data is WORTHLESS and
does not add any credability to his Preseidency!

It doesn't matter what 'selected puppet  president' for the dem or rep party you support or vote for. Isn't is quite obvious to the sheople that it doesn't matter anymore...or for that matter never did. The globalists 'select' the best 'puppet' that will push their agenda through and set them as the only option to the sheople.

The fact of the matter is..........there is no dem or rep party any longer....we live under a globalist dictaorship under the guise of DEMOCRACY!!

The globalists have successfully corrupted and used the two party for their own political and personal global gain! It really don't take a rocket scientist here sheople!

Don't blame BUSH....he was only following his globalist marching orders just like obama and the presidents that came before him!

Bumbler has posted this theme several times before... He seems to be the only one who buys into it.
It doesn't matter???
It does if you now have Health Insurance due to Obamacare.
It matters if you are a felon and want to buy a gun at a gun show without a background check.

Justice Sandra Day O’Connor,
(on her vote that elected George Worst Bush in 2000)

Quoted Text
Looking back, O’Connor said, she isn’t sure the high court should have taken Bush v. Gore.
“It took the case and decided it at a time when it was still a big election issue,” O’Connor said
during a talk Friday with the Tribune editorial board. “Maybe the court should have said, ‘We’re
not going to take it, goodbye.’”
The case, she said, “stirred up the public” and “gave the court a less-than-perfect reputation.”
“Obviously the court did reach a decision and thought it had to reach a decision,” she said. “It
turned out the election authorities in Florida hadn’t done a real good job there and kind of messed
it up. And probably the Supreme Court added to the problem at the end of the day.“

Bumbler thinks that there is no difference between Republican or Democrat Presidents.
Here is one major difference:
Big Govt Republicans
Smaller Govt Democrats:

you don't have national healthcare because of Obama...I've been in healthcare for 20years and this rail was laid
30years ago...Obama just happened to be there to wear the 'emperor's clothes'......

as for the background checks...ahahahahahahahaha....you fool

Exactly!

The bankers, corporations, and billionaires select the candidates for the mundanes.  If you enjoy cheering when "your candidate" allows millionaire solar energy companies stealing your money instead of oil companies, then keep voting.  If you don't consent to the theft by either gang of crooks, stop voting.
