I'm sure we will hear some excuse or exception to the cops actions over a scared homeowners actions.

Yup!  I'm sure the top brass are not happy with the shots fired at the boat site.
Remember...
Cops are GunHuggers too!

(Remember your post about the ny Sheriff org opposing anit GunHugger laws?)

The police went to great lengths to capture white hat alive... shooting him would have been a
disaster and changed the course of the entire operation

They should have sent Cicero to check out the boat.  I'm sure he thinks he could have done a much
better job than the cops.
Next time you need a cop... call Cicero instead.  He's wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than a cop in this
kind of situation.  Just ask him.

I didn't have to.  The boat owner did and the person inside didnt shoot him, or follow him into his home and prevent him from calling the police.

The KID allegedly robbed a 7-11(since has been disproven) killed a cop, carjacked a car, threw grenades out of the windows at the pursuing officer, ran over his own brother, got away, then hid in a boat, at which point the owner walked up to the boat and identified him, then walked into his house and called the police.  Then the 19 year old sat and waited until the heavily armed SWAT team showed up to riddle the boat with bullets.

The alleged bomber must have developed a conscience during the 5 day siege on Boston.

....then hid in a boat, at which point the owner walked up to the boat and identified him
CORRECTION: In TV interview he said he saw a lot of blood and a body that didn't move...he thought it was a DEAD BODY!!! So a fair assumption is that the bomber might have been passed out, since he didn't fire at the owner,
then walked into his house and called the police.  Then the 19 year old sat and waited until the heavily armed SWAT team showed up to riddle the boat with bullets. CLARIFICATION: As has been pointed out, there was evidence that authorities were fired upon from the boat. There is also evidence to contradict that the bomber had no loaded weapon, as it would have been the only way he could have sustained the neck wound he had...so initially authorities returned fire until commanded to not fire.

The alleged bomber must have developed a conscience during the 5 day siege on Boston. OBSERVATION: Stun grenades (3 of them) tossed into the boat will disorient and confuse a suspect. Combined with hostage negotiator, it would be another fair assumption that the bomber felt he had no other options since his presumed suicide attempt failed....and it's also fair to assume he had a change of mind and he didn't want to die, so gave up!

That's my rational thought on this!

I don't know it looks like there is about 100 ways he could have gotten that neck wound judging by the holes in the boat. Plus who shoots themselves in the neck if they're attempting suicide? And was there a gun or not, the thing didn't grow legs and walk away, its a yes or no answer why the BS.

Wait.

BIG GOVT failed to prevent this when they had the intel saying it was possible.

BIG GOVT failed to secure the event properly, even with trained dogs and more than ample personal.

and

BIG GOVT failed to capture the remaining brother during it's illegal (and you know it was Boxy) searches of peoples homes.

He was caught 10 mins after 'Marshal Law' was retracted by a smoker going outside for a smoke.

Yeah...BIG GOVT solved this ::rolleyes::

WELL....hmmm, guess you know...uhh.......wait, you posted it!!!!

Quoted from CICERO
Authorities are investigating whether the cornered Boston bombing suspect arrested in Watertown, Mass., Friday tried to commit suicide as cops closed in, reports today said.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, remains under guard at a hospital with serious injuries and has been unable to speak to interrogators — and today Boston's mayor said it's possible the terror suspect may never be able to be questioned.
CBS correspondent John Miller reported that one of the wounds Tsarnaev suffered was a bullet wound to the back of the neck, and that authorities think he may have tried to kill himself rather than be captured.
"But [investigators are] saying that wound to the back of the neck is very possibly a suicide attempt. They say it appears from the wound that he might have stuck a gun in his mouth, and fired and actually just went out the back of his neck without killing him," Miller reported.
Tasrnaev fired several shots from inside the boat, but investigators don't know in which direction he fired, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said today.
Tsarnaev was captured Friday after being pulled bloody and wounded from a tarp-covered boat in Watertown, a suburb of Boston, after a massive manhunt that involved door-to-door searches.

I did post it.  I also posted a link.  That was the "official" story on April 21st, the new official story reported today says there was no firearm.  The point of posting the conflicting stories was to point out they opened fire on a suspect with no gun.  Also to show how disjointed the "official" story is for all of those that have him convicted as a terrorist.  The FBI can't even get the f'n story straight, but everybody's sure he is the guy even before a trial.

The Boston Bombing and Terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki

Quoted Text
As for Awlaki, while we don’t know the extent of his influence on the brothers, we do
know that there is a long trail of hardened terrorists who have acknowledged coming under his
sway. Among them are Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistani-American who attempted to set off a
car bomb in Times Square in May 2010, and Nidal Malik Hasan, the U.S. Army officer who killed
13 people in a shooting spree at Fort Hood in 2009. Hasan, it turned out, had been in extensive
email contact with Awlaki in the months before the shooting, but no evidence ever emerged
that Awlaki knew about his deadly intentions.

Still, Awlaki was operationally involved in numerous other terrorist attacks, including several
attempts on the U.S. homeland. As chief of external operations for AQAP, al Qaeda’s
affiliate in Yemen, he personally supervised the 2009 Christmas Day bombing attempt
by the so-called underwear bomber. Less than a year later, he masterminded the package
bomb plot, in which AQAP managed to place improvised bombs on cargo planes headed
to the United States. (They were intercepted as a result of a tip by Saudi intelligence.)

We know Awlaki influenced the Tsarnaevs at least indirectly, through one of AQAP’s main
propaganda organs. According to law enforcement sources, Dzhokhar has admitted to
the FBI that he and his brother learned how to the build pressure cooker bombs they
allegedly used in Boston from the terror group’s English-language Internet magazine,
Inspire. For much of its existence, Inspire was run by Samir Khan, an American propagandist
for AQAP who was close to Awlaki and was ultimately killed in the same U.S. drone
strike that killed the Yemeni-American cleric.

THat business about the neck wound sounds like the closest explanation they could come up with that people might buy. You shoot yourself in the neck when you put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger to kill yourself, and I find it hard to believe that you could do that and still climb out of a boat by yourself. John Miller sounded like he was reaching and measuring his words carefully so as not to throw anyone under the bus.
Here's the thing, the FBI dropped the ball in the first place, and local police aren't really equipped to handle something like the big thing that this became. Yet the same show that featured John Miller's commentary also featured Mr. Bratton doing an advertisement for the NYPD, that they need all kindsof money and all kinds of powers to spy on everybody in America, when it has already been demonstrated that spreading themselves too thin by going after every man, woman, and child in America leads to dangerous gaps where there should be security.
