If the 2014 Election were held today:

Quoted Text
When asked which party they would support if an election for the U.S. House
of Representatives were held today:
43 percent of those polled said they would support the Democrat to 35 percent
supporting the Republican.

Some poll highlights:
Among all American voters, the Democrat Party is less disliked than the GOP:
the Democrats get a negative 38-44% favorability,
compared to the negative 28-52% for the Republicans.
The Tea Party gets a negative 24-43% rating.
Voters also gave Republicans in Congress a negative 19-71% job approval,
compared to a negative 34-59 percent for Democrats in Congress.

Democrats Would Win If Midterm Elections Were Held Today

Apparently 22% had no opinion or were undecided --- and any poll with an undecided over 10% is either suspect or is not helpful in predicting the actual outcome.  There is a lot of time between now and the 2014 Midterms -- so you shouldn't be counting your chickens just yet or you may end up with a lot of egg on your face.

I'm certainly NOT counting my political chickens... just a snapshot of where the country IS TODAY!
