they are not more enlightened...they just know it's none of their business.....

it's none of their business until it is....because you CANNOT legislate/control morality...no different than gun control/regulation...

abortion is not a pre-crime so owning a gun is not a pre-crime

Box cheers for abortion and at the same time cheers for gun control/regulation....that's dangerous mind-think...as if the government
should be in the business of pre-crime/mental hygiene. why should they be? because the progressives progressively think
it's OK when it's up to them to allow the government to legislate pre-crime morality.

a possible outcome of a human aborted is not a crime
a possible outcome of an assault by gun is not a crime

The killing of a defenseless human by another human should be EVERYBODY'S BUSINESS .. EVERYBODY'S CONCERN.   Pro-deathers try to make it sound like it is a "private matter" -- as if vacuuming out a human from a woman's fetus is the moral equivalent of deciding whether to have corn flakes or cheerios for breakfast or whether to wear the green outfit or the red outfit to work.  Obama, Cuomo, Tonko and all the other pro-deathers want us to buy their line of bull poop and follow their agenda of darkness.

Unfortunately, it seems you have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

Fortunately,  many others have not and will not .. and are now coming together to work to stop this agenda.

this abortion issue started L-O-N-G before obama, cuomo or tonko. they are just following this agenda that started decades ago. (it's a voting block)

Again i will say.........IF there is a GOD IN HEAVEN......those who support and have the blood of the innocent on their hands...(including the church)...will try to tell GOD how His human creation is nothing more than a meaningless clump of cells.

IF there is a GOD IN HEAVEN?.........that is also your choice.

Obama, Cuomo and Tonko are in office NOW --- and are pushing to radically expand abortion.  They have done NOTHING to defend life and are just as guilty of the pro-death agenda as the people who pushed through the first pro-abortion laws 40 some years ago.  The pro-abortion laws have to go  and those who support them (or refuse to do anything to limit or eliminate them) must also be swept from public office at the ballot box.

"as if vacuuming out a human from a woman's fetus"
is the moral equivalent of deciding whether to have corn flakes or cheerios for breakfast

"as if vacuuming out a human from a woman's fetus"

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ask the same question the gun grabbers ask.

Will stopping abortions save one life?

It would save 50 Sandy hooks a day.

If the looney lefties want to restrict everyone else's rights, I'm all for trampling theirs.

Justifiable use of force in self defense.

Libertarian approved.

Liberal lefties going extreme lefty fundamentalist on us forces the middle to the right

Action equals reaction.

I demand background checks and mental evaluation before any abortions.

What? It's not infringement.

Your response is one of the reasons that I don't have much respect for Libertarians -- you say you believe in Liberty and the most important part of Liberty is THE RIGHT TO LIFE.   If you folks won't stand up for the defenseless human in the mother's womb then don't be surprised that these same extremist left wing-nut smucks are now going after your guns.

There is no moral equivalence between killing an unborn child in the womb and getting a tattoo.  The fact that you seem to think it is morally equivalent just proves my point that you have fallen for the extremist left-wing smucks' line of bull poop.

You apparently have no reading comprehension skills.

I am the most pro-life person on this website.

Far more than you will ever be.

I doubt that you will be more pro-life than me.  If I misread your comments - I apologize.  I do know that a number of folks who call themselves Libertarians are pro-abortion and I believe that I misread your response which included the line "will stopping abortion save one life" -- again, if I misinterpreted your comments than I apologize.

I am definitely more pro-life than you.

I believe in all of the following:

Being pro-life means you believe unemployment, welfare, and Social Security are
not entitlements

Being pro-life means you believe that access to good health care is a right, not
a privilege

If you are really pro-life, you’d support allowing same sex couples to adopt and
foster children.

If you are really pro-life, you’d support better access to housing and food for the
homeless

If you are really prolife, you’d support better access to proper education

If you are really pro-life, you wouldn't uphold the right of the State to inflict the
death penalty for grave crimes.”

Not only are they asserting that the right of the State supersedes any moral teachings
of the Church, but it is in direct contradiction of the statement that every single human
life is sacred.

If you are really prolife, you believe all human life is sacred. Therefore the lives of
Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Ladin, and Ted Bundy are just as sacred as that of a fertilized
egg.

If you are really pro-life, you wouldn't support war except in direct self defense.

If you are really pro-life, you wouldn't support the killings by police except in direct
self defense.

In order to take a life, a Christian must actually deny a cardinal doctrine of the
Christian faith. He or she must deny that God is the Sovereign author of life, who
alone has the power and right to give and take away human breath, and we also deny
the creature we destroy his or her dignity as an image-bearer of God himself. In
Christian belief, the significance of human beings over all other species of animal
life resides in the image of God stamped on each person, as an artist
signs his masterpieces. Although God created all things, only humans bear his
likeness, and they bear it from conception.

Picking and choosing pro-life issues is not being pro-life.

Taking a life is only justifiable to save a life from imminent death.

MOST libertairians will agree that abortion is  MORAL issue...not a GOV ALMIGHTY issue.

If they are not entitlements, what are they - rights?

At whose expense?  Access doesn't mean entitled.  I have access to buy a Ferrari, it doesn't mean I have a right to it.

If you are really pro-life, you’d support allowing same sex couples to adopt and

Why stop a same sex couple?  Why not single men and women?

If you are really pro-life, you’d support better access to housing and food for the
homeless
How?  Who grants access?  Who pays the farmers and the home builders?

If you are really prolife, you’d support better access to proper education
How?  Who determines "proper education"?
