Apparently, everone seems to have missed this....

While, I too think the NYSafe Act is unconstitutional, but this guy was going to sell to anybody.

Perhaps true....but this is done every single day in the city of schenectady!! One can leave their home, drive to the city of schenectady, ask a few questions, be directed to the right person.....and be back home in an hour with a gun in hand!!! It's done every day!! And not just in schenectady....it's ALL OVER!!

Here's a scary thought....he was charged under the NY SAFE ACT.
So if he is convicted and NY SAFE ACT gets overturned,
it could possibly mean his conviction is overturned and he's
back on the street selling weapons.

I didn't miss the point.  The guy didn't believe in the lifetime ban for felons.  Felony DWI would give somebody a lifetime ban, and so do many other non violent felonies. He wasn't selling the guns to a 10 year old.

they were called 'assault rifles' so that GI JOE/JANE wouldn't be afraid to use it on a human...because where GI JOE/JANE came from
a rifle was a rifle and a shot gun was a shot gun and meant for hunting and home protection....

so you see the term 'assault weapon/rifle/gun/grenade' or what ever weapon used becomes a conversation and mind set of the
soldier....to kill other humans via ASSAULT.....

it's not the guns.....it's the training and the definition....it's a 'religion' to train GI JOE/JANE to the term ASSAULT....

but a gun/knife/fist/foot/spit/blood/cast iron pan etc are NOTHING in and of themselves until wielded by a human.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I wonder if the seller would feel responsible if the gun buyer, a convicted felon, used that weapon
in another school shooting.

Well, if the seller was capable of critical thinking, he would draw the logical conclusion that historically school shooting
are not committed by felons.  ie. Columbine,Sandy Hook, Va Tech.

So statistically, selling to a non felon is the person most likely to shoot up a school.

Your making an awful big leap in faith drawing that conclusion.  He sold it to an adult that was fimiliar with these weapons and had thousands of dollars at his disposal.  I don't believe this guy is as unscrupulous as you suggest.  Unlike the US government that sold these types of weapons to Mexican drug cartels.

Kind of a Timothy McVeigh type... What possibly could go wrong?

Leap of faith....you live by that giant leap, so I'm leaping in other direction to show you that you continue to miss the big picture.
