Tax Prof: ObamaCare Tax Increases Are Double Original Estimate
The Joint Committee on Taxation recently released a 96 page report on the tax provisions associated with Affordable Care Act. The report describes the 21 tax increases included in Obamacare, totaling $1.058 trillion – a steep increase from initial assessment, according to the Tax Prof Blog. The summer 2012 estimate is nearly twice the $569 billion estimate produced at the time of the passage of the law in March 2010.

* Provision targets households earning less than $250,000.
** Includes CBO’s $216.0 billion estimate for “Associated Effects of Coverage Provisions on Tax Revenues” and $6.0 billion within CBO’s “Other Revenue Provisions” category that is not otherwise accounted for in the CBO or JCT estimates.

I was at my veterinarian's office a few weeks ago. He had a notice up about raising his prices due to increased costs for his practice. Now I'm finding some of the increased costs are due to Obamacare taxes. Everyone involved with creating or imposing this abomination on the American people should be incarcerated at Gitmo where they can't do any more damage to our lives.

It is costing businesses (any business) a bundle for the extended unemployment. Businesses are not only experiencing an increase in federal imposed taxes but also from the state! Couple that with the cost of ANY product that is made with 'energy'. All freight costs have also risen due to the increase in fuel, taxes, benefits aka health care.

Since the stimulus money started to flow, there have certainly been jobs.....GOVERNMENT jobs. NOT so in the private sector. Example....When the first stimulus was let loose, the money was poured into schools. Many of these schools hired teachers...which 4 years later have been laid off or they are the next in line to be laid off.

Construction companies hired new employees to handle jobs created by stimulus money....they are now being laid off.

Ya just can't keep this ridiculous run a way train going! It WILL eventually run out of gas...aka money!
