The purpose of schooling is to indoctrinate children using rote memorization and frequent testing for verification of effectiveness.  Whether it's evolution or creationism, the fact is, children cannot think outside of whatever theory the government decides.  No thinking allowed, just state prescribed, state approved doctrine.

Schools and colleges are graduating kids that can't pass an entrance exam given by a company to get a job. Companies have to hire college graduates from other countries to get skilled, trained, and qualified employees.
