Again... since you keep bringing up the FACTS of this story... All that I can find online about him is
that he was a NAVY aero mechanic.  They state that he has a Vietnam medal that everyone gets who
serves in a war zone (including Navy Personnel serving aboard a carrier at sea) and a good conduct
medal.
He may have been in country but nothing that I've read so far states that he ever set foot in Vietnam.
Maybe it was your donuts that drove him to kill.. and not the Right Wing Rabid Conservative Hate Radio.

Maybe he was a mentally derranged Vietnam Vet, it was reported that he was a Vietnam Vet with mental illness.  Maybe he thought the bus drive was the VC and he was protecting the child from the enemy.  Yeah, that's it...Let me find a reporter to quote that statement and box can go have a nervous breakdown.

And maybe he was on a carrier in the South China Sea and never even saw a war zone.

Death catapults.

Yes... they are necessary to be used only on special occasions... most recently for the "burial at sea"
of Cicero's beloved friends from AlQaeda.

Dearly beloved... we are gathered here today... OK? PULL!

When I went to boot camp at Ft. Benning (back in Nov. '87), the Drill Sergeants did arts and crafts with us and sang peace songs by the fire.

Oh wai....

No they showed us how to kill people.

It's called basic combat training according to the USARMY website.  It doesn't take firsthand experience to know the definition of combat.

another troubled government issued vietnam vet!!!

collateral damage from an unwarranted war!

22 Vets commit suicide every day. The average age is above 50 years old.

Box is statistically in the group most likely to commit suicide.

Suicide among Veterans – As Reported on Death Certificates
Of the 147,763 suicides reported in 21 states, 27,062 (18.3%) were identified as having history
of U.S. military service on death certificates. However, Veteran status was unknown or not
reported for more than 23% (n=34,027) of all suicides during the project period. Without
linking to VA or DoD resources to validate history of U.S. military service, it is necessary to
remove those without information on history of military service from estimates of Veteran
status among suicide decedents. Among cases where history of U.S. military service was
reported, Veterans comprised approximately 22.2% of all suicides reported during the project
period. If this prevalence estimate is assumed to be constant across all U.S. states, an
estimated 22 Veterans will have died from suicide each day in the calendar year 2010.

The U.S. Navy confirmed Monday that Dykes served in the military from 1964 to 1969.

Naval records list him as an aviation maintenance administration man third-class who served with units based in California and Atsugi, Japan. The job entails clerical work related to aircraft and aircraft maintenance, according to the Navy's job description.

Over 100,000 Viet Nam vets have committed suicide with the average age above 50.

Only 58,000 died in action.

Lost the battle and,

still losing the war.

1.5 million Vets have PTSD.

150,000 remain homeless.

11 million gallons of Agent Orange

WOW!  HE WAS A TRAINED KILLER!  His experience in aviation maintenance administration is just
one step from being a Navy SEAL!

I bet he could kill a man with his stapler held behind his back!!!

His official title would be either:
A Smith Corona Commando
or
A Remington Raider...
Depending on his brand of typewriter!

His war was 50 years ago... but his daily dose of HATE that caused this nutcase to kill was this week.

Just one more success story from Hate Radio!

Limbaugh, Hannity Savage, etc can be proud of their work!

his war was always in his head,,,everything we do in life lives in our heads.....

he returned from fighting an imaginary enemy and continued what he was trained in.....

so he used a gun to kill a bus driver then took a kid hostage because 'who told him to'????

oh, wait, fellow americans....hahahhahahaha.....

continuing that line of thought it's ok for fellow americans (government) to say you can't have a gun (bear with me
I'm going extreme here) because of some imaginary protection they provide both from yourself and others because
they know best?

so who are the experts in your ring Box...sorry,,,,who are the experts in your box, Box?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

ONE MORE TIME SLOWLY...
HE WAS TRAINED TO DO CLERICAL WORK REGARDING AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.  He may have killed
a stapler in the line of duty, or he may have broken a pencil now and then... but trained to kill???
Kill a keg at the slop shoot maybe... but other than that... the only thing he killed in the military was
time.

He's still a Vietnam Vet.  Two vets within a week snapped and killed people in cold blood.  Ban vets from owning guns.

Two vets within a week... and how many non vets "snapped" or otherwise, killed in cold blood
in a week?  10?  20?  a lot more than two!
