North Vietnam WAS a communist country.  That isn't my opinion that is FACT.
United Vietnam IS a communist country... that isn't my opinion that is FACT.

And you still believe you were sent there to stop communism

Unlike you and Cic who seem to have nothing but contempt for America... I was and still am a Patriot!
I heard John F Kennedy in his inauguration speech say...
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".

Unlike Henry and Cicero and a few others here... I love my country and gave years, blood and a
whole lot of sweat for my country.  I didn't sit and whine Boo Hoo... my taxes are too high...
Sob sniff, Obama's taking away my guns...
I joined the US Marines to serve my country...
How about you???
What did you do for your country???
Cry?  Whine?  Piss n Moan about your taxes???
How did YOU answer John Kennedy's call for services to your country?  Or did you just TAKE?

I stood with those who recognized the fake war and proudly opposed it.

While you mindless drones gladly went off to save the world from a false threat.

Helping and supporting homicidal people in power is not something to be proud of.

You helped build the current gun culture by refusing to question orders before blindly supporting death
and destruction.

You would have done more for the country if you refused to support the killing of people in their homeland.

Whoa-Whoa-Whoa!!!  I don't think he "blindly" supported it anymore.  I used to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was young and deceived by our government.  It sounds more and more as if box consciously agreed to accept those orders, not out of being deceived by the U.S. Government, but he believed it was his duty to protect the South Vietnamese puppet government by killing people that were no threat to U.S. citizens.

You gave sh*t to your country all you did was line the pockets of the MIC, and you have the balls to call yourself a patriot after you attack every natural right we have, you would have been a redcoat back in the day and I'm very serious about that. So what did I do to answer Kenedy's call to service, I live my life without government aid, I live my life cheerishing the rights we do have and will protect them even if I must die doing it. I don't obey unconstitution laws or orders, I won't be used as a pawn for the gains of only a few (cough).

Not a single dead Viet Namese ever was a threat to America.

Killing families in their homes without due process is not honorable.

It's despicable.

And you are right Cicero, he still believes that this type of behavior is good and justified.

Too bad he was susceptible to JFK rhetoric.  Now let's look at his famous phrase.
And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.

Now, if you were "serving" your country in response to Kennedy's "ask what you can do for your country".  In the capacity of serving your country, wouldn't there then be somebody asking YOU(or the "country) to do something for them(ie go to Vietnam)?

What a terrible rhetorical trick played on those that joined the military based on that speech.  Convinced to be servants of politicians. Sad

So L4Life did NOTHING for his country... smoked a little week... shouted a few slogans... but
actually GAVE NOTHING.
I figured.
Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You... Ask What You Can Do For Your Country!

WOW!  Henry lives his life with out govt aid???  That's what he gave to his country!!!
Not the peace corps?  Not Volunteering at the Red Cross, or at a homeless shelter???
You whine like a baby about paying your taxes... You TAKE all the govt has to offer, and return NOTHING.

Henry lives his life with out govt aid.  We all know that isn't true.  He went to school didn't he?  Who
paid for that? Even in a private school, the govt subsidized his education. Govt funds built and keep
his hospital running and funds much of his doctors education... but Henry is on his own... taking NOTHING!
Henry drives on OUR roads, uses OUR infrastructure... Is protected by OUR Fire and Police...
Yet, he claims to do it all himself... "with out govt aid!"
What A Guy!!!  Thanks Henry for your "contribution".

Did Germany invade the USA in WW2?
Did the Japanese set food inside the United States in WW2... (well sort of... Hawaii was not a state then.)
Did North Korea invade the USA after WW2?
Did Grenada Invade the USA when Ronny the Raygun Invaded Granada???

I'm sorry if I took to long to answer your question Henry... I was doing some housework instead of
responding to your latest post.
Patience is a virtue Henry... and educating some on this board takes lots of patience... they
are so resistant to the FACTS!
