Police: OKC man shot brother during attack on mother Mother not injured, officers say UPDATED 1:33 PM CST Dec 28, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY —Oklahoma City police have identified a man who died overnight after a Thursday shooting. Officers said they were called to a home in the 1600 block of North Fordson Drive about 6:55 p.m. Thursday and found gunshot victim Michael Todd Hall, 40, of Oklahoma City. Hall died after being taken to a local hospital. Police said they believe the shooter was Hall's brother, Timothty Trueblood, 54. Investigators said that shortly before police were called Hall arrived at his mother's home on Fordson Drive. Hall was armed with a knife and confronted his mother in the garage, demanding money, according to officers. Hall's mother refused and fled into the house where Hall forced his way in and attacked her, police said. During the attack, police said, Trueblood shot Hall in defense of their mother. Trueblood was released after he was interviewed by detectives. Sgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department said they do not plan to arrest Trueblood.
