Two years ago, a mentally ill young man shot me in the head, killed six of my constituents, and wounded 12 others. Since that terrible day, America has seen 11 more mass shootings – but no response from Congress to prevent gun violence. After the massacre of 20 children and six of their teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary though, it’s clear: This time must be different.
Americans for Responsible Solutions will encourage elected officials to stand up for solutions to prevent gun violence and protect responsible gun ownership by communicating directly with the constituents that elect them. Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly
Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly... they must be 'little Nazis too!

In your case a final solution right, face it you are all talk about the assault weapons but ignore the fact that assault weapons are the least used guns in crimes. Why aren't you up in arms over the leader in gun deaths which is pistols, oh let me guess that will come later, one step at a time until the final solution is accomplished.

You missed the irony of the fact your recent posts have been that one word becuase you've been caught and outted and can't deal with it!!!!
lol - "outted".
Are you done?
I'm going back to watching John Kerry's Congressional testimony about U.S. soldiers in Vietnam so I can learn more about the American soldier. I'm up to the part where he compares them to Genghis Khan and shooting people with 50 caliber guns.

Henry, You post your paranoia and blame me for your words. I'll say it again... just in case you're brain dead: I support the 2nd amendment. I support good gun laws.
You see those two positions as impossible, but I and the majority of NRA members want stronger gun laws.
According to a poll conducted in May by Republican pollster Frank Luntz, NRA members, overwhelmingly support measures typically described as “gun control:
1. Requiring criminal background checks on gun owners and gun shop employees. 87 percent of non-NRA gun-owners and 74 percent of NRA gun owners support the former, and 80 percent and 79 percent, respectively, endorse the latter.
2. Prohibiting terrorist watch list members from acquiring guns. Support ranges from 80 percent among non-NRA gun-owners to 71 percent among NRA members.
3. Mandating that gun-owners tell the police when their gun is stolen. 71 percent non-NRA gun-owners support this measure, as do 64 percent of NRA members.
4. Concealed carry permits should only be restricted to individuals who have completed a safety training course and are 21 and older. 84 percent of non-NRA and 74 percent of NRA member gun-owners support the safety training restriction, and the numbers are 74 percent and 63 percent for the age restriction.
5. Concealed carry permits shouldn’t be given to perpetrators of violent misdemeanors or individuals arrested for domestic violence. The NRA/non-NRA gun-owner split on these issues is 81 percent and 75 percent in favor of the violent misdemeanors provision and 78 percent/68 percent in favor of the domestic violence restriction.
So Henry... which of the above "gun control" positions do you disagree with??? All of them???

I don't want more unnecessary assualt weapons on our streets... whether they are held by a law abiding citizen or by criminals... they make all of us less safe.
'Putting a AR15 in my hands won't make me a wack job killer'
See the games he plays people, law abidng citizens with AR-15's make us all less safe, although in his hands its ok, I guess he is different then the rest of us.

IS that the testimony where YOU claim the US re-instituted the Vietnam Draft??? or the one where YOU posted that John Kerry called our troops "baby killers"?
Cic is so full of BS it's difficult to keep track of his latest "False Facts".

Well, pistols, much like abortion, kill inner city black youth at a higher rate than whites. So it's not really politically advantageous. Now sensationalizing gun violence in white suburbia is something that might be able to scare the white folk to give up their gun rights.

No, this one. Where he talks about soldiers cutting off ears, poisoning food supplies, shooting a civilians. It's very interesting, you should listen to it.

I agree with 1 unless it is a private sale, if I wanted to sell my brother who I trust with my life a firearm that is my right, I don't need the government to regulate that. At gun shops I have no problem with background checks. #2 can basically be added to #1 if a background check is being performed, although I would question what actually makes one a terrorist today, that word is thrown around like nothing and that can easily be abused. #3 I also agree with, it is common sense for the gun owners own protection. #4 I would change the age to 18, if they can go die in another country serving our military they should be able to own a pistol, I don't believe a training course is necessary but I would highly recommend it. #5 I think should be judged on a case by case basis, no case is ever the same.

Please let me know when you get to the part where he refers to our soldiers as baby killers in his congressional statements...I really want to see that, becuase YOU said that he is credited with that
It was during John Kerry's testimony to congress that characterized soldiers as "baby killers". That's not my characterization. Should I not believe him? He was the Democrat presidential candidate and current nominee for secretary of state.
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

Yup there was zero anger from box about the dozens of people killed every week in Chicago, LA, or Detroit, as you said it can't be politicized

You are right, he didn't call them "baby killers", YOU DID. So please, reference the post that I made where I call a soldier a baby killer. You did make that claim right? So pleaaaaaase Joebxr, show me where I called YOU a "baby killer"(your words). We've established John Kerry didn't say it. Now it's up to you to show me where I said it. GOOD LUCK!
You seem like a normal individual that can separate the differences and place fair value upon a person versus what others on this forum do. According to Cic and a few others, because I "proudly" wore a uniform, by my own choice, and was in Vietnam, I am automatically a baby killer and associated with massacres and perform as a government puppet....a characterization that is so far from the truth, but yet prevasive with a few here.

How much anger do you want Henry. Once again just in case you were sleeping the last 10 times that I posted it... I support the 2nd amendment. And I support good gun laws. Will you join me Henry? Will you also support the 2nd amendment AND SUPPORT GOOD GUN LAWS???
BTW. good gun laws may help decrease gun deaths all across this country... especially in cities like Chicago, LA, or Detroit.
