Keep going this is getting good

Keep going?  About what.  I posted my thoughts on this section of the board.  I think even you will
admit that the 'anti group' views are far from mainstream values of America.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Do red lights reduce traffic accidents at an intersection?  Of course they do.  Do they eliminate accidents there? No...

Rotterdam red lights are needed for certain high traffic times during the day.

20 years ago they would blink all night long, saving gas and time.

Now the lights at Curry and Altamont and also the light at Curry and Helderberg are torture
to anyone traveling through those intersections.

After waiting for the light to take a left from Curry, onto Curry in front of Gabriels, the next
light slams red in your face and you get a second really long light.

These intersections are as bad as five corners, which has made people reroute for decades.

But hey, gas is free, the Mideast just gives it away. Why not have thousands of cars idling
every day waiting for no one to pass safely through the intersections, because we are
technologically impaired and can't manage to have the lights recognize that a car is waiting,
and change to allow passage when there is no other traffic.

I want to hear your argument on how the government has the right to monitor every Americans communications without a warrant under the Patriot Act is similar to traffic lights.  I LOVE those arguments!

The NRA and the Republican Party Made It Easier For
The Boston Bombers to Get Weapons

Hey, I wonder why you didn't put a link on where you got this gem of an opinion....

http://www.politicususa.com/nra-republican-party-easier-boston-bombers-weapons.html

Oh right, I forgot that far-left statists think that progressive socialist sites are totally MAINSTREAM.

I'll give you some credit Boxy, at least you didn't blame Seal Team 3.

I'm wondering Boxy...Still waiting for you to tell me where I can legally purchase a fully automatic rifle and does this mean the NRA and the GOP also made it easier for these two Islamic terrorists to get nails, BBs, ball bearings and pressure cookers so they can build bombs?

So I guess we can add black powder pistol and rifles to the list of what is classified as 'assault weapons' that should be banned ?

Actually most polls show the overwhelming majority don't trust the government

I don't recall anyone suggest Seal Team 3 carried out the bombing.  There were images that allegedly show members of Craft International, a paramilitary company that Seal Team 3 sniper Chris Kile was the President of, near the bomb site.

This board, or at least the national political section of this board, is mostly manned by anti govt posters,
who act as if their view were some how mainstream.
In the overall population of our country, this view would not represent .01% of the nation.
The majority of voters agree with Barack Obama, and the minority of voters sided with Mitt Romney
in the last election.
There is always a "fringe" who exist outside the mainstream, and on this board, the anti govt group
are that "fringe".

My guess is that most Republicans and most Democrats would find the "anti group" to be laughable...
right up there with believers of Bigfoot, UFO abductions and Fake Moon Landings.   The 'anti group'
seem to find strength in their numbers... not in their facts.  One will open with a conspiracy theory,
the next will add to the paranoia, the the third will confirm that they agree, making a consensus of
the board.  Armed with their 'numbers' on this board, they are confident that they have reached
the "TRUTH".  Of course their "fringe truth" is just that.  A consensus of outlier opinions, that would
be labeled "extreme" in the general population.

I welcome an "opposing view". An opposing view can inform, or it can entertain, or it can strengthen
your own views.  These opposing views are consistently out of the norm, so much so that they seem
that any conventional view is almost always rejected just because it is conventional.

On this board, FACTS are a suspect view.  Creationism is as valid as evolution.  Crime is never committed
by criminals, it is committed by the government... any data that suggests that crime is committed by
an actual criminal is suspect.
The #1 suspect in any event is the government first, and only after the government is ruled out, can
another suspect be allowed into the conversation.

By the posts of some on this board, I suspect some to be mentally ill.  Rational thought escapes them, and
delusions seem to be the norm.

Others on the board seem to be just 'obstinate'... rejecting facts and accepting the least likely scenario.

I would love to see a selected collection of posts submitted to a psychological review... I expect the
results would be very enlightening.

of course you would

I didn't know Starbucks was a paramilitary/coffee business.  Interesting?  Are they NRA members?  If they are, they are surely behind it.  I'll have to look for the Starbucks/NRA/GOP connection.Lol

W.Va. student suspended for wearing NRA T-shirt

Published: April 21, 2013 at 11:32 AM

LOGAN, W.Va., April 21 (UPI) -- A 14-year-old West Virginia student was suspended from school, arrested and faces charges for wearing a T-shirt to school supporting the NRA, his family said.

Jared Marcum, an eighth-grader at Logan Middle School in Logan, W. Va., said school officials asked him to remove his shirt, and when he didn't, suspended him from school.

"What they're doing is trying to take away my rights, my freedom of speech and my Second Amendment," Jared told WOWK-TV, Charleston, W. Va., Friday.

Jared's father, Allen Lardieri, said the school has failed to answer any questions about his son's case.

"I'm still confused, thoroughly confused," he said.  "They school didn't even make a statement to the news agencies, much less myself."

"They gave me no paperwork, all they said to my mother was not to bring me back to school the next day," Jared added.

One question some sources had is why children aren't allowed to wear clothing depicting firearms when there is a statue of a soldier carrying a gun and a grenade in the school parking lot, WOWK reported.

"You can take the firearms out of the equation, what this about is fundamental rights," Lardieri said.

Benjamin White, Jared's lawyer, said he'll work on having the charges -- obstruction and disturbing the education process -- dropped, then file any federal or civil suits.
