Several of these schools had ARMED GUARDS
BECAUSE IT WORKED SO WELL...
The NRA GunHuggers are still protecting the GunMakers insisting their failed policy will work
next time.

They had to rely on others box that is the point, liberals think that a gun free zone sign is all that is needed to protect people, how wrong they continue to be and at such a horrible cost.

What really happens

"Columbine Had an Armed Guard, Virginia Tech Had a Police
Department, Ft. Hood was a Military Base...."

They all had armed guards... and the killings continue.

Wrong Ft Hood didn't allow guns on base, Virginia Tech police couldn't enter as the doors were chained shut, Columbine nobody engage the shooters till after most of the carnage was done. And again you fail to grasp that the people had to rely on others for their safety because they were not allowed to defend themselves.

How were they defenseless??? In a 'gun free zone' they were also free to bring a knife
(or a baseball bat, or a hockey stick, or a broom handle, etc etc etc) and defend themselves.

So box thinks the students should have gotten into a knife fight with the attacker instead of having the right to just pull a trigger, maybe box doesn't know what really happens in a knife fight. He wants the students to be equal to the attacker when it comes to force, that is unless the attacker has a gun then the students must wait for equal force to arrive   The pictures below is knife attack wounds, this is what box wants students to face while defending themselves with as he said a broom handle >

Those are not EXACTO KNIFE wounds, which is what he used.
They were defenseless only to the point of probably not having weapons
on them (i.e. knifes or guns or Tasers or pepper spray), but they were far from defenseless or willing to be
victims....they didn't rely on others.....they tackled and jumped the creep, restraining him until Police arrived.
I don't think that is defenseless...that is defending yourself against a
nut job with a 1" knife blade. I commend them for stepping up!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!

And only 14 people had to be injured until they got him under control, sorry but they were victims and they had to put themselves in greater harms way to take him down. Those students shouldn't of have to been at a level playing field as the attacker which is what a gun free zone creates.

You probably could carry on an entire box of those blades.

And:

OMG!  The GunHuggers are right!  These assault weapons ARE practically the same thing!
I can hardly tell them apart!!!

Um... GunHuggers... If you were in a mass killing situation, which of the two 'assault weapons'
pictured above would you rather have in your hand, and which would you rather be in the hand
of the mass killer???

It's not a difficult question... It's not a difficult answer...

Yea... I figured!  The @ssahole GunHuggers are speechless!

Law enforcement says gun restrictions are ineffective: Survey

By Andrea Noble
The Washington Times

Tuesday, April 9, 2013
A national survey of law enforcement shows officers believe many proposed gun control measures — including bans on assault weapons — will be ineffective at reducing violent crime and that legal gun ownership by private citizens would prove a better safeguard.

Among the findings of a survey by the industry website PoliceOne, which tallied responses from 15,000 verified active and retired law enforcement professionals, police overwhelmingly favor an armed citizenry and are skeptical of any greater restrictions placed on gun purchase, ownership or accessibility, editor Doug Wyllie said.

The survey found that 91.5 percent of respondents believe a federal ban on the manufacture or sale of semi-automatic weapons would have no effect or a negative effect on the reduction of violent crime. Though a national assault weapons ban is dead in the water, numerous states — including Maryland, Connecticut and New York — have adopted or enhanced their own bans.

The vast majority of officers also believe legally armed citizens are important in the reduction of crime rates.  http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/apr/9/survey-law-enforcement-professionals-say-gun-restr/
