What I saw in the video was just the opposite. The opening sentence pretty much says... I needed a background check to carry an assault weapon in a war zone, doesn't it make sense to (TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY) and require a check here at home.

By the way he had an actual assault weapon in the military, if you want us to be equal then I guess you think it is alright for me to own a select fire AR-15. The topic: "2nd Amendment Scorecard"... that is the 2nd amendment of the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION... has very little do do with the American Revolution, since: The Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787, and The 2nd amendment was ratified in 1791 Cic isn't much on history... but some one should tell him that the USA didn't overthrow the British until in 1783, the Treaty of Paris ended the war and recognized the sovereignty of the United States.
So yea... the 2nd amendment had no impact one way or the other on the US revolution.
Again, the US 2nd amendment didn't apply to Russia or France in their revolutions.
