YUP. I brought up the NRA who promote Concealed firearms, as is the thread subject. YOU brought up your "Fetish with Fascists", which had nothing to do with the thread subject. (Just another Cicero rant! )
I just pointed out the hypocrisy of you little fascists that support corporate lobbying pushing through compulsory health insurance but are against corporate lobbying that supports gun manufacturers preserving Americans voluntary right to the second amendment. On one hand, gun manufacturers profit from the voluntary purchase of a gun, on the other hand, insurance companies profit by government forcing people to purchase their product. Glad to see you are a principled man box. |

He said CHICAGO.
Really? Is that what HE said? And why are you posting for HIM??? I posted what the rate was for Illinois. If he (or you) want to know what the rate is for Chicago... then go look. My data was for the 50 states. |

Your opinion is that it's constitutional, others disagree. The true test will be when it's brought before the US Supreme Court.
Personally I'm for strong gun laws (especially pistols) and I support the 2nd amendment.
the federal appeals court makes their decision based on LAW not OPINION.....yes? our 'personal opinions' don't mean squat....it's the law! |

And federal appeals courts have been reversed by higher courts until it often reaches the US Supreme Court for a final decision. |

No, state nullification is the final decision. |

Exactly WHO does Wayne LaPierre represent? Sportsmen? Target shooters? Hunters? Criminals? None of the above.
The NRA isn't a lobby for sportsmen, hunters or target shooters at all, although their agendas often coincide. The NRA represents Arms Manufacturers and Chemical Companies, not the American public.
the AMERICAN PUBLIC likes guns silly....so YES, in effect they do.....it would be like supporting scott toilet paper... the public likes toilet paper..... the public even likes jersey shore crap..... |
