So is box admitting I voted for a libertarian or not? I see he is trying to get off topic.

Now don't assume he didn't vote becuase he probably did, and that is a given right of expression I am sure he would not ignore. Also,
he did vote in the primary for Ron Paul....didn't you see that?
Registered just to cast that ballot, then unregistered!

It's difficult to really know what Cicero believes.  He posts his 'opinions' as if they were 'facts'.

It's not difficult to know what I believe...I don't hide it.  And unlike you, I don't run away from it when challenged.  You may disagree with my beliefs and I know for damn sure you don't like the way I express them.  But in general, I think you understand my philosophy on government.  You usually over exaggerate my limited government views with silly bombastic rhetoric about treason and anti government which really just detracts from your arguments.

You try soooo hard to bring the debate back to the traditional left vs. right, liberal vs. conservative, republican vs. democrat that you grown accustome to over your lifetime.  The information outlets that give you the talking points haven't yet given you talking points to debate the libertarian philosophy.  It seems the only debate is to call them "domestic terrorists" or "extremists" or some other form of demagoguery to avoid the debate.  I boggles your mind that somebody could actually hold opinions outside of the democrats are the "good guys" the republicans are the "bad guys" narrative.

Let me see if I understand this....you are saying that BOX has a very closed mind mentality and you are very open minded????
BOX redirects postings to suit his agenda and you stick to the discussion at hand????
BOX is locked in the traditional thought process and you are using progrerssive thought process by evaluating all information before formulating an opinion????
Have I got that all right????

NAH, never mind...doesn't matter!!!!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!

I never said box has a "closed mind", I'm saying he is open to debate on the terms as dictated by the MSM and the two party establishments.  He is open to debate under the 50 year old left/right rules.  Any opinion that doesn't fall into the accepted left/right liberal/conservative debate format is "extreme" and he tries desperately to re-label people that hold those different opinions as "whining republicans".  You see, because it seems in box's world there are ONLY 2 camps of thought a person can be in, either democrat or republican.  If you don't buy into either of the party’s statist ideology he labels you "anti-government".

I'm not using a "progressive" thought process; it's more of a classic liberal process of individual liberty, freedom and natural rights.  The limited government pro liberty philosophy is as old as the Renaissance, the traditional thought process that box prescribes to is that of pre-renaissance when people were ruled by kings and royalty.

I must admit many so-called Libertarians are Republicans at heart.

Glenn Beck recently announce he is building a 2 billion dollar Libertarian Utopia.

His main sponsor however is freedomworks.org, a group of tea party supporting right wing conservatives.

I like a lot of Glenn Beck's ideas, but he leans quite a bit towards the right.

Apparently him and John Galt are building their own society of geniuses and the rich.

I wonder who will be the servants?

Glenn Beck is a charlatan that puts his thumb in the air and tries to exploit the mood of the moment.  His brand of libertarianism (and I use the term lightly) is only to co-opt newbie’s to the political discourse and convince them that invading countries in defense of Israel is libertarian belief.

Glenn Beck thinks Israel is the 51st state.  During the Republican Primary he despised Ron Paul and other libertarians because they didn't sign the "friend of Israel" pledge.  Paul said that he would cut ALL foreign aid and Glenn Beck nearly stroked.  Beck is a pro militarism, pro Israeli lobby neocon attempting to inject some libertarian views in an attempt to redefine libertarianism and turn it into neoconism.

When you do the same thing over and over (elect a Democrat or Republican) and expect a different result, that defines insanity. You have a right not to want to be part of the collective.

I did do the same thing over and over to pass legislation that would give America universal health care.
Finally, my persistence paid off!

Passing it is one thing, seeing it actually do what it is intended is another...saving money was supposed to be one of those, but that will be long forgotten the farther down the road we get.

I don't have to "feel absolved", I am absolved, no whining here.

Box would have voted in an election between Hitler and Stalin and blindly supported the victor.  He would have even supported and apologized for the atrocities committed by them - because they were democratically elected.  Box has proven that there is no atrocity that he cannot justify and explain away.  Box has claimed on many occasions that Bush waged an illegal war in Iraq, then Obama wins presidency and doesn't prosecute him.  Box's once most despised people walks free with hundreds of thousands if not millions of dead in an illegal war.  Box has no principles, just blind allegiance to his government - they can do no wrong.   And anybody that suggests that the government is full of crooks and killers - you are an anti-government extremist.

Cic may have an opinion here somewhere hidden in his hype, but it's difficult to find among all his
postings of WHAT MY OPINION WOULD BE (according to Cissy)

Nope.  NO Cissy opinions here... just HIS posting of what MY opinion is...

Still waiting for your call for Bush to be prosecuted for war crimes.  I remember how outraged you were about it before the 08 elections.  Since Obama was elected, the war atrocities don't seem to bother you too much.  Go figure.

I know, I know, hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi's is not as important as an assualt weapons ban. I'm sure Obama will get to it, right after closing GITMO, another one of your principled positions that used to outrage you when Bush was President.  Gitmo used to create more terrorists, now it's perfectly fine, indefinate detention is justified and explained away.  I think box even was able to blame Republicans for not closing GITMO.  Box is that good.

BTW...You did claim that the Iraq war was illegal.  That isn't your opinion, you said it.  I don't have time right now to go through all your posts, but I know you said it.

I'm not responsible for the actions of this government, I never gave them my blessings to do what they do. To the victors they get the government they elected, to bad they think they have the right to force their views unto others. Again you think this matters to me, I'm my own person, I live the way I want the way I choose to live, I don't need permission from nobody to do that, sadly you feel the need for the government to control you.
