You forgot to count all the jobs lost during the same period of time and the jobs that don't pay anything that people were forced to take or go homeless.

If you dump nearly $1 trillion dollars of future debt into the economy that is now on the backs of our chidren, you are bound to create some jobs.  Just be sure to put my kids name on some of those paychecks.

The US Dept of Labor says that there are 29 Straight Months of Private Sector Jobs Growth...
Shadow disagrees.

All I'm saying is that they are just counting one way but not the jobs lost. They also don't count those who are under employed.Figures don't lie but figures can sure be manipulated.

How many jobs were lost during the same time period? Will the government count the 18,500 workers who lost their jobs at Hostess next month?

The INCREASE IS IN TOTAL MONTHLY EMPLOYMENT...
JOBS GAINED - JOBS LOST = TOTAL MONTHLY EMPLOYMENT
29 straight months of private sector jobs growth

when they say growth what version?

say I get laid off from a job making $90,000/yr....I'm unemployed because I'm also 'over qualified'....I then go through those
'retraining' programs and garner a job at $20/hour, sell my car to 'downsize' myself/family.....

is that growth? or is that the finger in the dam? or shall I say the releveraging finger up my a$$

FACT: Only about 3% of tax returns show income of more than $200,000. (excluding the returns that didn't show
any income at all.)

FACT: The very rich get more of their income from capital gains and dividends, which are taxed more lightly
than wages and other income.
Here’s capital gains as a share of income for various income groupings:

(% of adjusted gross income from capital gains & dividends)
$1 to under $10,000     0.4

$10,000 to under $20,000     0.6

$20,000 to under $30,000     0.7

$30,000 to under $50,000     0.8

$50,000 to under $100,000     1.4

$100,000 to under $200,000     2.2

$200,000 to under $500,000     5.6

$500,000 to under $1,000,000     10

$1,000,000 to under $1,500,00     14.6

$1,500,000 to under $2,000,000     16.6

$2,000,000 to under $5,000,000     21.7

$5,000,000 to under $10,000,000     28.8

$10,000,000 or more     48.5

And let's not forget this piece of history. Every time the top taxes were cut the deficit grew.

The top rate has been cut over 200% and the results are always the same

When Reagan asked are you better off than 4 years ago, everyone rejoiced. Individuals were in fact better off.
He had actually started the US down the road to massive debt by favoring the wealthy.

Our financial advisor said to pull our money out of our money market before the end of 2012.....pay the tax now cause it is only going to get taxed higher and higher. He said to bite the bullet now and pull it out.

Correct, the debt was built by Raegan, Bush and Bush. Each rise in debt correlates with each tax cut for the rich.

Obama inherited a bankrupt economy and was forced to raise the debt to keep the country from failing.

Congress is responsible for the federal income tax too.  Obama extended the Bush tax cuts too.
