Not a "coincidence" for the reason YOU believe.  The Federal Government passed the Civil Rights Act which FORCED people to use their private property in a manner that the federal government outlined.  It was more FORCE and intrusion of the federal government.  It was an assault on private property rights.

Again, you looooove to make it a race issue where there isn't one, when it was always a private property rights issue.

To sum up Cicero's latest disastrous tirade...
"Slavery, and the Civil Rights acts have nothing to do with race or racism."

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Poor box, I feel bad for you...You have awful reading comprehension.

The south's switch from Democrat to Republican is because the Democrat Party believed in the Federal Government's right to tell individuals in states how to use their private property.

But, again, box is easily confused of this fact because he believes the righteous federal government can tell everybody what they can and cannot do with their private property, regardless of state law.  So I'm not entirely surprised at Box's ignorance on this issue.

It's tough for me to argue with willful ignorance.  I'm starting to feel sorry for him.  He goes through life looking for the correlation between electoral votes and racism.  He's a bitter-bitter and divisive little tyrant.

I should have taken Mark Twain's advice.

Never argue with a fool; onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.

Election Results:
What did they buy with all that money?

The Sunlight Foundation finds Karl Rove's American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS spent more than
$200 million on the elections but backed no winning candidates.

Texas A Swing State?

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro (D) said Texas will be competitive for Democrats in the next six to eight
years.

"Here in Texas, the Hispanic vote has been growing tremendously because Hispanics accounted for 65
percent of the population growth over the last decade. We're going to see more and more Democratic
candidates get elected to local races, county races... At the statewide level, it's going to take a little
bit longer."

just about all states are 'slave states'.....every politician is groomed...ESPECIALLY THE PRESIDENTIAL POLITICIAN.....

every bit of rhetoric is used to make a 'common enemy' or 'common sorry soul'.......polarize divide conquer

using the slaves (as bad as that is) as the 'common sorry soul' generated enough 'nationalism' to make the civil war end as it did

Box is the cheerleader again, which is OK but obama/bush/clinton/carter/nixon etc etc are NOT gods....

obama is the 'jesus' of the present...just as every other Pres is

cumbaya my friend

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

See... Judging by most of Senders posts... he's decided long ago not to wait for weed to be legalized!

I have no idea what most of his posts are about.
