Texas Woman Forced To Cover Up ‘Vote The Bible’ Shirt In Order To Cast Ballot
November 2, 2012 9:41 AM

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (CBS Houston) — A Texas woman claims that a polling place forced her to cover up her “Vote the Bible” shirt she was wearing or she would not be allowed to vote.

Texas Values is representing Kay Hill after Williamson County election workers told her that her shirt was deemed “offensive” and that she either needed to change her shirt or cover the words up in order to vote at Taylor City Hall on Oct. 24.

“This is obviously a religious free expression and no one should be put in a position having to choose religious freedom over deciding to vote,” Jonathan Saenz, president of Texas Values, told KTBC-TV.

Hill eventually complied with election workers and covered-up the words in order to vote...............................>>>>.........................>>>>........................http://houston.cbslocal.com/20.....rder-to-cast-ballot/

I don't know abut Texas laws but in NY State:
"Electioneering" Within One Hundred Feet Of Polling Place Prohibited

electioneer
1.     to be active in a political election or campaign
2.     a person who engages in this activity

The law protects our rights to vote.  It matters not which candidate you are promoting or which agenda.
Laws are designed to protect all Americans in the process.

Similarly banned:
"Vote Sharia Law",
"Vote Climate Change"
"Vote Choice"
"Vote Evolution"
"4 More Years"

However a shirt with:
"Mittens Romney is a dickhead"
Would be totally acceptable!

Nothing offensive or illegal about her shirt at all. They went too far.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Figures, box supports government restricting free speech in a public voting booth.

BTW, electioneering is supporting or opposing a candidate or political party.  Bible is neither and not on the ballot.

Cic is always harping about the "rule of law", as long as the law supports his agenda.

Geez box if you're gonna copy and paste about the "rule of law", you should try copy and pasting the Texas electioneering law.

Box follows his own "rule of ignorance" to support his anti-Christian agenda.  Box copy's and pastes the dictionary definition of electioneer to support his ignorant bigoted argument for restricting a Christian's right to free speech.
