Yup the drunks did build this country and the jails and then they filled them!  Not a saint--just not a drinker.

I'm not saying it's not dangerous...what I am saying is that until one person touches another in a way that isn't
acceptable(death/rape/etc) then the justice gets meted out....

sober people have no more rights than drunk people

then that is what you should have said in the beginning.....I am against drunk drivers..period......just like the guns are rapant...so are the drunks...

built what???....i have seen families destroyed because of someone driving intp their  family car while drunk......and it sh...ouldn't be that way....

because no one pays attention to laws anyway....

How many peopled died because of prescription drug use?  There are more people doesed on prescription drugs than alcohol.  

Laws don't change behavior, laws give people like you comfort by locking people in a cage whose behavior you are told to disagree with.  If everybody just shared your values, the world would be a better place...right?  If they don't live that way - LOCK'EM UP.  Hence - the highest prison population in the WORLD.

I don't disagree...but civility isn't about placing everyone in a bubble and making a cast system so it's all palatable
...I bet I have a 'smell' compared to the Hiltons and they would ABSOLUTELY uncomfortable in my home...but
they have no more rights than myself, ie: DWI charges non-existent (although I bet they don't even get the grand
opportunity to drive themselves sober or drunk)....so I say the laws AREN'T made for those who make them,live 'above'
them or opt out of 'smelly homes' by their choice of the use of our fiat system....

alcohol use is not a disease anymore than smoking or doing drugs......

we could go on forever, you smoke, you get heart disease, you drive, you have a heart attack while driving and slam
into someone and kill them....'I didn't know?' or how about show me your papers if you want a drink/smoke etc so it
can be logged into your national healthcare chart so 'we the people' may deny you treatment because you made a choice

it's just a crazy world and the algorithm we try to affect just makes little pebble ripples

FYI......animals get locked up in a cage not humans. Humans get locked up in a jail cell. Well hopefully to many people dont share your values....just sayin .

I know - your job depends on it.  

But fortunately, talking to the younger generations, I’m happy to say, more and more people are beginning to share those values.  You can't have the largest prison population in the world and think waving the flag and singing songs of freedom will keep people ignorant to that reality.  America is quite contrary to freedom.  There are awful lot of Americans in cages for victimless crimes.  

yup America is going down the toilet......and why???.......not enuf education re politics and how it is played...

all people hear is .......get registered......go vote.....don;'t forget to vote....it's your right and privilege.....

nothing is said other than that ....so society has become passive and too many voters are not in the "know" with politics and platforms of candidates.

they believe what they hear......and unfortunately, non of us have really heard the truth from any of them...

GO VOTE....IT'S YOUR RIGHT AND PRIVILEGE.....DO IT WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED.....SAME DIFFERENCE...
