Imagination running wild. It's hard to be reading notes when you're looking at Obama the whole debate.

You're delusional. You might want to watch that debate again before you repeat that.

The only place where a presidential teleprompter is an issue is on Right Wing Radio, and in the small minds who
listen to it.

It's amusing when the shoe is on the other foot.
To paraphrase:
George Worst Bush has told a bunch of lies and/or made a whole bunch of stupid comments over
many years.
GWB should never have been elected governor let alone elected to be a US President.
He is an embarrassment to the country.

George W. Bush was a good president and unlike Joe Biden was not a serial liar.  Biden has lied about everything from his educational credentials to plagiarizing speeches to the restaurants where he eats  -- and cruelest of all -- even resorted to lying that his first wife was killed by a drunk driver -- a claim which has been proven untrue even by the police agency which investigated the fatal automobile accident.

Sure we had more money during Bush. Everyone had 2 jobs.

Bush's pyramid scheme also collapsed as he exited.

As for the debate, Ryan came off as a smirky, religious extremist.

The VP debate is over and we STILL have no idea what Romney's tax plan will be.
I wonder if we'll ever know... Possibly THEY DON'T HAVE A PLAN!

IMO, both Biden and Ryan did well representing their position.

draw, both got their points in, Ryan as debutante had the most to lose, and didnt disappoint, came across as competent, informed and human; ready to be heartbeat away from president. Biden didnt step in it, so dems are happy there, already known quantity and didnt do anything worse than laugh and smirk too much but no one will hold that agin him, since everyone knows his quirks

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I agree.

Both displayed their views well.

Ryan, however, committed suicide by religious extremism.

Stating that he will inflict his religious views on everyone is not going to be well received.

I watched the comedy relief debate and I must have zoned out when this happened.

It was the last question.

He stated that according to his religion, life begins at conception and the Romney/Ryan ticket will support that.

He also mention non-elected judges and danced around the Roe V. Wade issue.

He made it clear that they will support an end to abortion.

Suggesting that elected officials should make the ruling on abortion, instead of non-elected judges is also an extreme departure.

The question was phrased to obviously force Ryan to declare that he will legislate based on religious beliefs.

..." he will legislate based on religious beliefs"... Yup! Just like the Taliban.

I don't feel it was a draw as some have said. I found myself annoyed that Ryan continued to avoid direct answers and turn the comments  in the direction of what appeared to be rehersed points that he wanted to make. Commentator even said to him at one point that she was not going to get a direct answer.  He responded to that by going off in his direction once again. The religous question was a big point that did get a commitment, and something the voting public needs to know and understand. I thought Biden was better prepared and spoke directly to the points, for the most part. Didn't like his constant reactions to Ryan's comments..thought that should have been toned down. But Biden spoke with more passion and feeling then Ryan....Ryan seemed too canned.

Watching Ryan I couldn't help but feel I was watching one of those get rich quick TV programs and he was the guy trying to sell us his CD's and books.

Martha Raddatz kicked butt as a debate moderator.  I also liked the seated next to each other format rather than
standing at a podium version.

Maybe Ryan could have explained his position better if Biden didn't interupt him every time he spoke. Interupted Ryan 82 times during debate.
