Folks need to move out of the county entirely!! Yes saratoga is great....but so is the village of colonie. Gotta be careful with guilderland....the taxes vary on location. However the school district in guilderland is great!
The city cesspool is overflowing in the rest of the county. County taxes are out of control. They are talking consolidation which will be the 'taxing tipping' point for everyone! Taxes will most definitely go higher.

You didn't move far enough out. The smart people are moving out of this cesspool County. Saratoga is the County of choice with no Metrograft/lower sales and property taxes. Wait until the DEM finish your town taxes. They already raised County taxes 7.5% in one year before the new County Home.
