During the Vietnam War the periodic body counts, ours, would be broadcast. The body count would be followed by demographic analysis. The all consuming question was, were more black (now African Americans) dying in Vietnam than white proportion to their number as reflected by the census. The implication being, poor blacks were shouldering the burden of the Vietnam War disproportionate to their numbers.
In the Oil Wars (I & II) and the Afghan War we see no demographic comparisons. I know a lot of Latino are in the armed forces due to numerous motivations. Most of the National Guard coming home from Afghanistan 'seem' to be white or damn close. Are blacks dying in Afghanistan proportionate to their numbers in the general population. If no, something needs to be done about this. The bobble head, talking heads require more races issues to divide US.
A few years ago when BUSH was getting US into the Afghanistan War the mantra from lefty, liberal, anti war, Democrats was; "Wait for the bodies to start coming home & the war will end." Just like Vietnam, not yet!
The host (s) making that comment is on the air no more & the anti war protest we heard during the Bush Administration is DEAD SILENT.
Historical example; Hitler invading Poland in 1939 was OK with Russia, they got a piece of Poland. Hitler invading Russia was bad & gave rise to the Great Patriotic War. This is not a letter about who is the least moral, the right or left. It is apparent moral outrage, demonstration, movements are tools of the left. The right does what it does till cannon fodder runs out.
A war not fed bodies by the true cross section of the nation (selective service) will continue beyond a logical or 'moral' point.
To be fair & balanced, the Vietnam War (s), Iraq War, Afghanistan War were total waste. One driven by the Tonkin Gulf Incident (a ruse - canned goods), others by weapons of mass deception with terrorist hiding in caves..
Military force is a necessary evil in an imperfect world. War without the necessity is pure evil. Democrat or Republican both dance to the tune played by the Military Industrial Complex (MIC). Eisenhower, a Republican President & former general Of The Army warned US of this.
I want to know the percentage of Americans dying in Afghanistan who are black. I will allow mixed race (Obama types). I also want to know why MOVE ON & organs of the left are not protesting Obama's war making.
