AP INTERVIEW: AHMADINEJAD PUSHES NEW WORLD ORDER
BY EDITH M. LEDERER AND WENDY BENJAMINSON
ASSOCIATED PRESS

NEW YORK (AP) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that a new world order needs to emerge, away from years of what he called American bullying and domination.

Ahmadinejad spoke to The Associated Press in a wide-ranging interview on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly - his last as president of Iran. He was to address the assembly Wednesday morning.

The Iranian leader also discussed solutions for the Syrian civil war, dismissed the question of Iran's nuclear ambition and claimed that despite Western sanctions his country is better off than it was when he took office in 2005.

"God willing, a new order will come together and we'll do away with everything that distances us," Ahmadinejad said, speaking through a translator. "I do believe the system of empires has reached the end of the road. The world can no longer see an emperor commanding it."

"Now even elementary school kids throughout the world have understood that the United States government is following an international policy of bullying," he said................................>>>>........................>>>>................http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/s.....=2012-09-26-01-02-07

Iran has done nothing to the US.

They took hostages when the US allowed their billionaire leader asylum and helped him rob the country of it's wealth.

The US needs to stay the hell out of middle eastern affairs.

The US continuously interferes, then claims the persons they interfered with are a threat.

The US aggressive war machine is a threat to the entire world.

Did you forget those nice armor piercing IED's that Iran supplied to the terrorists we were fighting against in Iraq that killed many of our soldiers? I agree we should bring our troops home and let the muslims go back to killing each other.

The USA joined the British in overthrowing their govt when Iran nationalized their oil fields in the 50's.
Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran came to power through US and British intervention in Iranian
politics.
Later the CIA helped train SAVAK, the Iranian secret police who's increasingly brutal tactics to keep
the Shah in power, led to the regime's downfall.

Much of the policy and politicians in power today in Iran are the result of US meddling in their internal
politics.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ya, ok.  And Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had nothing to do with the kidnapping of 52 Americans for 444 days in 1979-1981.

They're a peaceful country - uh huh.

Really, giving arms to your neighbors who were invaded is an injustice against the US?

The US caused the kidnapping by aiding and abetting the escape of the Shah who stole billions.

Oh, and that happened under Carter's great administration. Gotcha.

Still, Ahmadinejad was a conspirator in that kidnapping - and today we're apologizing to THEM?

Give me a break.

Where you getting your information Rusty?  Out of Playboy Magazine?  Sorry Ahmadinejad, as stated by the CIA, was not one of the students that stormed the embassy.
