Chinese General: Prepare for Combat
Top Chinese general in unusual move tells troops to ready for combat with Japan

BY: Bill Gertz
September 18, 2012 5:00 am

China’s most powerful military leader, in an unusual public statement, last week ordered military forces to prepare for combat, as Chinese warships deployed to waters near disputed islands and anti-Japan protests throughout the country turned violent.

Protests against the Japanese government’s purchase of three privately held islands in the Senkakus chain led to mass street protests, the burning of Japanese flags, and attacks on Japanese businesses and cars in several cities. Some carried signs that read “Kill all Japanese,” and “Fight to the Death” over disputed islands. One sign urged China to threaten a nuclear strike against Japan............................>>>>..........................>>>>................http://freebeacon.com/chinese-general-prepare-for-combat/

The Washington Free Beacon is not news... it's a right wing propaganda blog.

Maybe not, but the majority of what is in the article IS true and has been reported by multiple news outlets.
My son just got orders for a deployment to that general area... that should tell you more than anything else.

Air Force... He works on the weapons systems for the F16's...everything from diags and repair to loading of the actual ordinance... Japan is WHERE he wants to go...but unfortunately, he will be going a little closer to China (he told me not to say EXACTLY where, but that description should tell ya) .. He was in Italy for the past two years and just got to his new base at Hill AFB in Utah.. he wasn't there a month and got his orders.. They waived the usual USAF policy of a 3 month hold on deployment when being assigned to a new base....obviously they see a few things of urgency.

Thats base he wanted to go to...

He's actually going to the place that is directly south of that nutty nuclear nation to the north! right in between Japan and China...

I served with the ROK Marines for a time when I was in Vietnam, and learned a little about their country
from them.  I hope all goes well for him there.

I'm sure it will...He was originally supposed to go there as his base for a one year hitch and then most likely go to Japan for 2 years...they changed his orders at the last minute and send him to Utah..and then turn around and send there anyway.....go figure.

Nice to see a thread with people honoring our service men. Glad to see IRA chiming in with racist comments too. Both the best and worst of this message board in the same thread. Anyways, I'm not worried about China at all, this is just posturing to try and get a better deal at the negotiating table in regards to the disputed territories.
