Watched alot of the DNC yesterday and saw G Giffords, I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye there or for those who were watching.
Giffords looked great, but she still struggles with movement and especially with words. It was good to see her back.

She looks pretty much the way she did pre-shooting...Unfortunately, the struggle with movement and words will most likely be a life long one. What she went through is very similar to what a person would go through after suffering a severe stroke. Most of the progress gained occurs in the first 12-14 months after the incident. I think she is past that now. She does have youth on her side, and that may allow for a bit more progress, but I think what she is now is what she is going to be.
