Rusty you can't be serious    You think Obama is the reason for this, no this goes way back.  Romney/Obama are the same.

As a Ron Paul supporter I can sleep well because I know I supported and will support the ONLY candiate who really
cares about OUR liberty, freedom and life.

Yes, actually I AM serious.  I'm 100% for standing up for your principles - but I do have to see reality.  When I made the comittment to have children, I promised my wife (rest her soul) that I'd see that our kids had a better life than we did.  I've failed miserably, unfortunately in part because my stupid kid (oldest) became a Democrat and got brainwashed that theirs is the best way.

We've seen their "best" way, increased taxes, decreases in the number of doctors available (especially on Medicare or Medicaid), increased mandates, wars, conflicts, re-entering a period like the cold war with Moscow, drones flying overhead, security cameras watching our every move, google having a free hand to take "street pics" that may include inside our windows, into our back yards, tracking our movements on the internets, this stupid facebooker thing - all in the name of progress.  And for those privleges, we pay higher taxes, have fewer personal freedoms and some on employer health insurance, who made the choice which plan to choose, are now being told that they CANT have that plan any more, we MUST take a medicaid supplement, paid for by the states, so that our taxes can go up even FURTHER.  Oh, and if BHO gets to appoint 2, maybe 3 new SCOTUS justices during the next term, we'll be screwed for YEARS to come (beyond my lifetime).

As I said, I'm not convinced Romney is the answer or the solution, but I do know what we've got now,  and I can't stomach the thought of another 4 years of it.  The people are speaking.  They want their freedoms back - freedoms to post crap about our govt on facebooker as an example - without ending up in the nut house or jail.  Ron Paul has ZERO ability to change that. NONE.  Romney at least has the ability.  If he fails, then so be it, he'll be out of there in 4 also.  But giving BHO another 4 years to destroy this country by throwing away a vote is irresponsible.  And furthermore, Ron Paul, while I like SOME of the things he says, should be stepping back and endorsing - or at the very least, working WITH the candidates (whichever is closer to his platform) instead of trying (and apparently successfully) dividing the country.

Yes, I'll stand for my principles. I fought for this country because I believed in it. I still do.  Bush Jr wasn't the answer (but he's not responsible for everything in the past 12 years), BHO certainly ISN'T the answer.  Is Romney? I don't know - but that's why I love this country - we have the power of change in 4 years.  We should exercise that power this Nov, rather than saying "Oh, I detest everything about this administration and their policies,  but I"m gonna stand my ground and vote my conscious by supporting Ron Paul".  Wake up - Support RP all you want, but when it comes down to it, flip that lever (or whatever it is we're doing this year in the booth) and cast your vote against Obama.

I've said enough. When my kid reads this, he'll never talk to me again.

Time for pizza, and beer.

If Romney/Paul get elected and don't deliver on their promises they should be thrown out the door in 4 years too.

"As a Ron Paul supporter I can sleep well because..."

Why will they sleep so well?
They have a clear conscience since no matter how awful the next 4 years turn out to be, they can say...
"Hey, I didn't vote for him"...
Just like the people who didn't bother to vote at all!

Exactly!!!  Good Job box!

When the president assassinates American citizens, or calls for the invasion and overthrows a country, I can with a clear conscience sleep at night knowing I didn't give my consent to this murderous criminal gang.  In my opinion, not voting is more powerful than casting your single vote.  Record low voter turnout would send a louder message than record high voter turnout.

If Romney/Ryan get elected and DO deliver on their promises, they should be thrown out in 4 years.
Promises:
End Medicare
End Medicaid
End PP
Increase taxes on the middle class while giving the Wealthy ANOTHER Tax Cut.
End Abortion
End Obamacare

Who will suffer if RomneyRYan is elected... not the wealthy, they will prosper and the middle class
hard working Americans will pay the price.

Lower turnout would prove that the american people have smartened up to the fact that both the dem and rep parties are CLEARLY in bed together! The outcome will ALWAYS be the same no matter who wins this election. They just take different routes to get there!!! This campaign by both the reps and dems are clearly just a dog and pony show..................and the sheople fall for it!!!

Reps or dems.....are one in the same FOR SURE!!!

you seem to like the taste of the crumbs your 'rich friends' that you elect, toss you.....do you honestly think they are
assisting in putting food on your table? do you think they are giving anymore honest value to our everyday lives?

Hell, if you do and you are satisfied that's all that matters....

but pretty soon value will become even more obfuscated as digital transactions take over every aspect of life and those
1%'ers you complain about will STILL live in their mansions with their cars, drugs, toys, planes etc etc.....

and you and I will still be looking for that elusive 'enemy' called the rich guy/gal...when in all reality it's our own
choice of "they get to live on the edge with a flat screen tv, I want it" they get to have those fancy cell phones,
I want one. " they get to smoke all the cigarettes they want and then privately pay for the top doc to care for them,
I want that too.

I'm not saying greedy folks don't exist but they aren't all an enemy.....

I know a bunch of 'greedy poor' who steal bikes/sneakers and would take your last quarter just to buy a lotto ticket
and pretend to be 'one up'.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Under Romney/Ryan, the rich get richer... especially millionaires... and those who make under $30-40,000
get poorer.

The rich have been getting richer for years and nobody knows what the Romney plan would do unless you've taken up seeing into the future but we all now know what the Obama plan did, nothing, zero, zip improvement in economy, jobs, and but he has greatly improved the amount of debt we now have.

I am waiting for evidence of all the criminal things that Box has said this guy probably did. I haven't seen any from Box. He only prints what his communist masters and mistresses order him to print as he spews their hatred on the movement's behalf.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
