David Koch to Be GOP Convention NY Delegate

(Very Appropriate)
David Koch, the conservative billionaire who has given millions of dollars to Republican political
causes will attend the Republican National Convention in Tampa this month as an at-large delegate
from New York, according to his company Koch Industries.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to be chosen as one of ninety-five delegates representing the
great State of New York at the 2012 Republican National Convention,” said Mr. Koch in a statement
given to the Journal.

“As Americans, we all have a role to play in the democratic process. From learning about the
issues to participating in campaigns and voting, this is an opportunity, and a right, to help chart
the course of our nation.”

Sure it's corrupt, are you surprised by this? Go to the Ron Paul thread and look at the last video I posted.

I'm sorry Henry... I've put up with all the RP video's that I can stomach.  I remember way back when I watched
the first one here... Uggggg!

Nominations are pretty much a done deal... who puts their name on Romney's ballot makes little difference.
I just hate that such a blatant symbol of "Government by the Rich" has to be a NY delegate.

It has really nothing to do with Ron Paul but the delegates. Pretty much the RNC tried to replace delegates for ones that they knew were 100% behind Romney. They then gave those delegates they couldn't replace an order saying they can not say anything good about Obama to the media, also they can't say anything bad about Romney to the media. The whole circle jerk is a attempt to show what appears to be unity in the GOP

...Except when the 4th richest man in the world Warren Buffett goes stumping for the President pushing a tax hike.  Or when the CEO of General Electric Jeff Immelt is anointed to a place in the Obama Administration.  As long as the "Government by the Rich" preach your gospels,  you have no problem.  The Koch Bros. just don't tickle you ideological fancy.  If they were dumping billions into planned parenthood you would recommend a congressional medal.

Ciero your missing the point. The Koch Brothers are horrible people f'n our democracy, don't blur it with Buffet talk. The argument that your side does it too is the whole reason we are in this horrible situation. When someone is a horrible person lets talk about them and not clutter the conversation with other examples. If you wanna call Buffet an ahole go to the other dozen threads on here doing so.

I'm not missing the point...I was just pointing out Box a Rox's hypocrisy with his "government by the rich" post.  Box was on the board touting the "Buffett Rule" not too long ago.  Suddenly, box has an epiphany and "rich people" are perverting democracy.

Box doesn't care about a "government by the rich", he's just against "government by the rich that he doesn't agree with philosophically and that do not donate their money to liberal Democrat causes".  The rich that donate to Planned Parenthood and the DNC get a free pass.

I don't need to start a thread to point out Box's hypocrisy.

Yeah don't do it.

It will be a 30 page 'threadnaught' within 48 hrs.
