Cic loves the Conservative ploy of 'redefining' their opponents views.
For example:
~"Box, for a person that wants the state involved in every aspect of a persons life for the
"common good"

Obviously not my position, but Cicero will continue as if it were.  He will then argue his position as
if his words were mine.  (not much point of me defending Cicero's version of my views is there?)

Cicero's limited Right Wing agenda leaves no room for an actual discussion without first
redefining my views to fit his agenda.  Kinda pointless ins't it?

Are you going joebxr on me?  I was just summarizing your political beliefs based on your collection of posts.  You have a fairly consistent collectivist philosophy; I have a fairly consistent individualist philosophy.  You believe the state can mandate a religious organization to offer contraception, you believe that the state can mandate all citizens purchase health insurance or be penalized, you believe Obama's statement of "you didn't do it on your own" when talking about businesses, you believe the state can protect a minor from disclosing a pregnancy and abortion from the parent, you support in compulsory schooling.  You have come to the defense of the state time and time again when it comes to the intrusion in the individual’s life, and I have come to the defense of the individual and personal responsibility.

I don't have an agenda box; I have nothing personal to gain.  I have a philosophy and I will debate my philosophy against yours all day.  You don't have to run away from what you believe.  And your own words on this message board paint a pretty clear picture of your beliefs.

Cicero then goes on to actually PROVE MY POINT!  (He really doesn't see it)

His second sentence:
"I was just summarizing your political beliefs based on your collection of posts."
Cicero just defined his view of my position, based on his expert knowledge of what I REALLY believe.
Then his last sentence:
"And your own words on this message board paint a pretty clear picture of your beliefs. "

Sounds like fun!  Let me try:
"Cicero really believes that all Democrats are really Fascists who disguise themselves as Democrats for
the purpose of buying up discarded aborted fetus to sell for a profit."

This IS fun!  You can post any view you want, then continue as if it were the words of the other poster, then
reply to his imagined words as if they were true!

Really Cic... I know that you are a closet homosexual and that you worship AlQaeda and Hitler, but don't
ya think this defining the others position to make a rebuttal easier, a little un productive???

Wow, I post the positions you have taken on nationally debated issue.   You just posted random adjectives without putting them in context with debated issues.  At least put a little effort into it box.

You've defined my position numerous times.  Remember, if you are against droning your own citizens with predator drones, you must support Al Qaeda? Or if you oppose mandated health insurance you support poor people dying?  Or if you are against collectivist government coercion, you are selfish and greedy?  You've defined plenty of time box, don't act so shocked.

Again Cicero... to quote my words is a valid point, although they may not represent my true views if taken
out of context.
But:
This is your summary of my views:
Box, for a person that wants the state involved in every aspect of a persons life for the "common good",

Does that represent my views?  You post Y O U R words, then attribute them to me... much like my
exaggerated summary of you.

Oh and by the way... I didn't even bring up your poor spelling on that post... like you did with Joe.
" I is funny to see the knee jerk reaction "

Alright, back on topic...Enough of defining.

Box, if a minor is suspected of being pregnant in rural Louisiana, and being Louisiana and all, in certain rural districts I'm sure their may be incest involved.  If a 13 year old was puking in the bathroom every morning for a week showing possible signs of 'morning sickness', do you believe it is the responsibility of the state to determine if the 13 year old is pregnant to protect her from molestation, statutory rape, and rape?

What a bizarre post.
"suspected of being pregnant", it sounds like you are describing a crime.  Is that what you think when
you pass a young pregnant girl on the street??? That she was a victim of incest???

If a child is suspected of being abused(in NY) pregnant or not, it is the responsibility of teachers
and some staff to report the incident for further investigation.
If a girl is pregnant, I wouldn't suspect that it was caused by incest unless there were other factors that
led me in that direction.

the government legislates laws/regulations to curb human choices but a charter school can't....and do the parents agree with it?

I have no idea what the laws are in louisiana but

1. no parental consent for abortion
2. no parental consent for birthcontrol
3. parents want pregnancy test with consequence

BOTTOM LINE: the girl private gets the consequence because it is a receptacle

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Louisiana school reverses policy of kicking out pregnant teens

A Louisiana charter school that came under fire for a policy of kicking out girls that are pregnant or
suspected of being pregnant has reversed its policy.

“Blaming the victim is never the appropriate response to misconduct,” said Marjorie Esman, executive
director of the ACLU of Louisiana said in a press release. “If students at Delhi are being harassed, the
school’s responsibility is to protect them while ensuring their education. The problem lies with the
harasser, not the victim, and it’s wrong for schools to kick students out for reasons that have nothing
to do with their education.”

The Dehli Charter School in Dehli, Louisiana came under threat of lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties
Union on Monday after the organization learned of a policy that forced girls to take a pregnancy test
and go to a physician of the school’s choosing to determine if she is pregnant. A positive test result
or failure to take a test could result in the school banning the student from class.

“The policy’s complete disregard for Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the federal law
that prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities, is astonishing.”

Good decision!  If only the ACLU would get off their asses and overturn the whole idea of state compulsory schooling.  They should show a little consistency.  The state can't force a girl to take a pregnancy test(I agree), but they can force you to learn a state mandated curriculum and force you to pay for it.

Education is mandatory in the USA (with some limitations).  It is a RIGHT that cannot be denied whether your
parents agree or not.

Man, you are well schooled...Education and schooling are two different things.  An education are skills and knowledge learned through a collection of life experiences.  The only way a person is denied an education is to be locked in a cell and deprived of all life interaction.

And show me again where compulsory schooling is a "right" in the constitution?

The only rights you have are the ones from the US Constitution??? Really???

Wow!  For someone who mentions the US Constitution at almost every post... you don't seem to know
what is and what isn't in it.

Rights Not In The US Constitutions:
~The Right to Vote:
~Innocent until Proven Guilty
~The Right to a Fair Trial
~Right to a Jury of Your Peers
~The Right to Privacy

The Constitution isn’t a law or a set of laws. Instead, it’s a framework for the structure and the
authority of the government. The main body of the Constitution explains how the government is
set up; the rest explains the limitations on what the government is permitted to do.

US citizens have hundreds or thousands of RIGHTS that are not written in the Constitution.

Here box goes again...Never using his post for the context of my response.

Your Maddow Meme said education is a right, it says rights are not voted on.  That is a LIE, compulsory schooling it isn't a RIGHT, and it is a law that was VOTED ON.  The Maddow meme is rhetorical bullshit.

HENCE, public school education ISN'T A RIGHT, IT IS A MANDATE, AND IT IS VOTED ON. aka - indoctrination.

One more time box, there are certain inalienable rights listed in the Constitution. Where is the right to an "education" in the CONSTITUTION?

Fix the Maddow meme to make it accurate!  And stop taking civics lessons from Rachel Maddow memes. lol
