New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told CNN's Piers Morgan last night that he doesn't "understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike, we’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe."

COLONIE — A retired State Police investigator accidentally shot himself in the knee while trying on clothes in a Sears changing room Tuesday night, according to police.
Robert Talbot, 56, suffered the self-inflicted gun shot wound in Colonie Center Mall at around 8:22 p.m., when a .22-caliber handgun in his pants pocket accidentally fired, according to Lt. Stephen MacLasco of the Colonie Police Department. Talbot was taken for treatment to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
The incident left a pool of blood outside the changing room that a worker mopped up at around 9:05 p.m. Two security guards guarded the changing room.
Talbot resides in Ballston Spa. His medical condition could not immediately be obtained. Police did not believe it was life-threatening.

Cops shouldn't go on strike, they should offer to give up their guns first, then everybody else will follow. The Leader Principle. But we know, cops aren't disarming, their authority comes from their threat of violence, through lethal means if necessary.

I think people would hardly notice if the police went on strike.
But who will protect walmart and the banks?
They must be some of them corporations that did it all on their own.
