[color=red][/color][b][/b]President Obama is riding 'another' immigration hobby horse, to buy votes. Whatever the particulars are it comes down to non enforcement of the law. Mitt Romney is floating a Sen. Rubio for VP to see if he can buy votes. The votes both parties are attempting to buy are the 'Hispanics'. Next election cycle it could be blacks or whites. In America anyone of US could be for sale tomorrow. Welcome to the slave trade! I hold both the Democrats & Republicans in contempt for buying votes of a particular race, color or creed. This is not good for America & serves to divide US. If one group is favored to buy their vote then why not discriminate against a group to secure favor with an opposing group. Catholics Vs Protestants, Jews Vs Muslims, Hindu Vs Zen, the possibilities are endless to favor one group over another. If one group is being favored then it is at the expense of another, that is called discrimination. Not because I am an Anglo but because I am disgusted with the politics of race I will not vote for Obama nor Romney. Although my vote as a non Democrat is worthless in NYS I will vote for a 'third party' candidate, assuming that person is not playing the race card.. Discrimination & favoring a group are two sides to the same coin. This time it is heads up for Hispanics.  |
