Bottom line is.............the agenda meeting scheduled just hours before the actual tb meeting......not being posted before hand...... is clearly not giving the community a chance to prepare for the issues to be discussed.

OH THAT'S RIGHT.................that's the intent!!

Wrong again.  I have, and I'm sure there's others that I know who could vouch for it.  I stated it was an issue due to the fact that people couldn't get there.

If you work in Albany and get out of work at 5pm it's going to be a little difficult to make it to the town hall by 5:30pm. That means you won't get to have any dinner until you get home after the town board meeting at 9pm plus or minus.

DVOR knows nothing AT ALL. How can a person go through life being wrong to that degree? He will defend almost anything his superiors demand. Sickening.

The proposed agenda is posted online by late Friday afternoon of the week preceding the meeting.  The public has AMPLE opportunity to read the agenda within the legally prescribed time-frame.

OK, that's assuming that it will still be posted on the Friday before the meeting.  BUT, what about the resolutions that are added to the agenda during the Agenda meeting.  How will be the public be made aware of these new items prior to the 7PM meeting?

been to almost every meeting and still nothing answered......he is on the right track and needs support from the residents......he CAN make a

After watching the TB meeting on Ch 18....it is so obvious by body language how these council members feel....just look at expressions

on their faces....how Martin seems so bored....whispering amongst each other ////why is RG the only one who questions anything????

It is utterly embarrassing to see who is running this Town.......and also....the sound is horrible......and when the mics are on....

why is there so much noise....coughing into the mics.....shuffling of papers.....these people don't know how rude this is...

and lastly ...why does the TC have to read the rules at every meeting......it's monotenous ...and has the take of a kindergarten class....

What seems to be real is not.....and something should change....and soon...

And what about minutes of meetings...when are they going to be published?  Where are the minutes of the last planning meeting?  Why are they not on the website? Why is this informatin so secretive that taxpayers can't readily find it....open government, BS!!!!

First, the purpose of the 'agenda' meetings was always to discuss the DRAFT agenda, then add and/or remove items accordingly. Therefore the agenda posted FRIDAY historically doesn't match the one posted after the agenda meeting MONDAY. That said, the Dems already do their work in private anyway and the agenda meetings now are just a formality.

Second, there's no one outside of the government itself and the media who will stay at town hall from 5:30 until the regular meeting ends.

This is a sham. But in truth, it doesn't matter. The people AT the agenda meeting aren't the people running town government anyway. They only wield the rubber stamp for others tucked away in town hall. I speak of one individual in specific...say on the third floor...and a certain county legislator.
