For Cic, it's still an unsolved killing with absolutely NO suspects.  Hmmmmmm???
Who could it be??????
Cicero doesn't even have a person of interest... and he's ready to send the killing to the 'cold case files'.

No, I know the person of interest - George Zimmerman.  Also, the Sanford police have a person of interest - George Zimmerman.  I, Cicero live in Upstate New York, I have no evidence in front of me, just hearsay in the media.  Sanford police have evidence, eye witness testimony, and are still currently conducting an investigation so the DA can prosecute whatever LAW Zimmerman violated.  Currently the Sanford DA believes Zimmerman may have acted in self defense BASED ON THE EVIDENCE THE POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATORS COLLECTED.

I know you have it all figured out up in CSI Gloversville, you have quite a compelling argument based on the extensive evidence you provided using political cartoons.  You may want to email that rock solid evidence to the DA to help his case.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Here's an example of how the press is trying to steer this story. The two photos we have seen over and over again are of Zimmerman in prison type orange clothing and a shot of 13 year old traavon ( a four year old picture), in his football uniform. It makes Zimmerman look like a criminal and Traavon look like the all-american boy. I wonder what the public would think it they used these more recent photos of both

Multiple suspensions paint complicated portrait of Trayvon Martin
By Frances Robles
frobles@MiamiHerald.com

SANFORD -- As thousands of people gathered here to demand an arrest in the Trayvon Martin case, a more complicated portrait began to emerge of a teenager whose problems at school ranged from getting spotted defacing lockers to getting caught with a marijuana baggie and women’s jewelry.

The Miami Gardens teen who has become a national symbol of racial injustice was suspended three times, and had a spotty school record that his family’s attorneys say is irrelevant to the facts that led up to his being gunned down on Feb. 26.

In October, a school police investigator said he saw Trayvon on the school surveillance camera in an unauthorized area “hiding and being suspicious.” Then he said he saw Trayvon mark up a door with “W.T.F” — an acronym for “what the f---.” The officer said he found Trayvon the next day and went through his book bag in search of the graffiti marker.

Instead the officer reported he found women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that he described as a “burglary tool,” according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of the incident came as the family’s lawyer acknowledged that the boy was suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces of marijuana, which he called “irrelevant” and an attempt to demonize a victim.

Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.
Trayvon was asked if the jewelry belonged to his family or a girlfriend.

“Martin replied it’s not mine. A friend gave it to me,” he responded, according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend.

Over the last 48 hours, there has been a sustained effort to smear Trayvon Martin, the 17-year old
African-American who was shot dead by George Zimmerman a month ago. Martin’s mother, Sybrina
Fulton, said, “They killed my son, now they’re trying to kill his reputation.”

1. Prominent conservative websites published fake photos of Martin. Twitchy, a new website run by
prominent conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, promoted a photo — purportedly from Martin’s Facebook
page — that shows Martin in saggy pants and flipping the bird. The photo, which spread quickly
on conservative websites and Twitter, is intended to paint Martin as a thug. As Twitchy later
acknowledged, it is not a photo of Trayvon Martin. [Examiner]

2. The Sanford Police selectively leaked irrelevant, negative information about Martin. The authorities
told the Orlando Sentinel this morning that Trayvon was suspended from school for ten days “after
being found with an empty marijuana baggie.” There is no evidence that Martin was under the
influence of drugs at the time of his death, nor would prior possession of marijuana be a reason
for killing him. It’s unclear what the relevance of the leak was, other than to smear Martin.
[Orlando Sentinel]

3. On Fox News, Geraldo said that Martin was dressed “like a wannabe gangster.” Bill O’Reilly
agreed with him. The sole evidence is that Martin was wearing a hoodie. Geraldo added that
“everyone that ever stuck up a convenience store” was wearing a hoodie. [ThinkProgress; The Blaze]

4. Without any evidence, prominent right-wing bloggers suggested that Martin was a drug dealer.
Right-wing blogger Dan Riehl advances the theory, also advanced in a widely linked peice on a site
called Wagist. There does not appear to be any evidence to support this claim whatsoever.
[Riehl World View]

5. Without any evidence, a right-wing columnist alleged that Martin assaulted a bus driver.
Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon has no documented history of violence. This allegation continues
to be advanced by a blogger on the Examiner even after the real reason was leaked to the
police and confirmed by the family. [Miami Herald; Examiner]

6. Zimmerman’s friend says Martin was to blame because he was disrespectful to Zimmerman.
Zimmerman’s friend Joe Oliver said that Martin would not have been shot to death if Trayvon
had just said “I’m staying with my parents.” Of course, Zimmerman was not a police officer,
and Trayvon had no duty to tell him who he was or where he was going. [NBC News]

No,  I don't know its a fake...i have no idea...

But I do see you didn't bother to challenge whether the Zimmerman photo is a fake.
Are you going really to say that showing a "county jail orange" pic of Zimmerman for 3 solid weeks, when other pics where available, is NOT going to taint the jury pool if he does go to trial?
As another poster said, I see no possible way this guy can get a impartial jury at this point,

''Fake'' Trayvon Martin picture circulates on the web; image actually shows a different person.

The neo-Nazis over at Stormfront were the first to start passing off this photo of one, “Trayvon Martin,”
in an attempt to show that the now deceased Trayvon Martin was some sort of gangster.
Pic plus this under the pic at the Stormfront Site:
"In the bottom pic, dear little Trayvon looks like he's all dressed up and ready for prison" . . .
Prison inmate Trayvon: "Hah guys! I beez a o-rij-anal gangstuh jes' lahk you!"

My question is why there isn't a more recent picture of Trayvon? That pic in the football uniform had to be at least 3 years old. Surely, there must be a recent pic from his high school.

And why is the ONLY pic of George Zimmerman being circulated by the press one that is AT LEAST five years old of him in a orange county jail type shirt?
Why is the pic still being used on most media outlets although a more recent pic has been circulating for days?

where is the toxicology report on Trayvon? (no toxicology on Zimmerman, big mistake by SPD)
Did Trayvon have injuries to his face as a result of a struggle, like Zimmerman had?
What about the 13 year old witness who said he saw Zimmerman on the ground on his back?

As you can see... some of what you've read is probably true... and much of it is fiction.
Zimmerman has had a month to concoct a story and invent witnesses.  Martin's story is in the grave.

You mean, like the BLACK neighbor who saw Zimmerman on the ground on his back?
Zimmerman gave his story a few minutes after the incident.
I want the investigation to reveal the truth. You and I have NO idea what is truth or fiction at this point, including whether this had anything to do with racial bias.,... there are way too many questions about the incident that smell like rotting fish at low tide.

This case is setting up just like the Duke Lacrosse case, for which I'm sure YOU had the accused in prison before the trial, which ended up never taking place. That's what can happen when you substitute emotion for facts.

Everyone seems worried about Poor Zimmerman... THE SHOOTER, who killed an unarmed teenager, after
he perused Martin against advice from the police.
As you pointed out...  (no toxicology on Zimmerman, big mistake by SPD) the police seem less than
willing to do a complete investigation.

If race were not involved, and the same story happened in my community... I would expect the shooter to
be scorned after shooting an unarmed teen... instead... the shooter seems to be portrayed as the victim.
