From 55tbird If holding you up to the same standard as you hold me to is throwing stones, I'm guilty as charged.
Not meant for you 55tbird, aimed at the quick to judge left before the facts are known and the fact that the left can only see one way, white harms black bad, black harms white you hear crickets.

And as long as we have hate crime laws, ones that say its worse to commit a crime because you hate a person, than to commit the crime, period, we will never have racial equality..other reasons we will never have it?
Too much money for people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and too much political power for Dems like Maxine Waters or Nancy Pelosi

A man shot an unarmed kid holding a bag of candy...
If a White man shot a Rotterdam White kid holding a bag of candy...
the outrage would shake this board apart.  The shooter would be labeled as a monster...
but if the kid was black... "it was probably self defense".
Pathetic

Are speaking of the 10 or12 regular posters when you say "this board" or are you speaking of the 400 (number goes up down daily) or so total members...........just interesting to me how you like the lay the rightie label on the entire membership..............I'm neither left or right sometimes I agree with you and on other issues I side with the folks you call righties, and on some issues I disagree with both sides and have my own opinion. I'm not really sure what the makeup of the "entire board" is and curious how you came to your conclusion............in the future don't include me in your generalizations.............thank you

Uh oh... When Box contacts the DNC for his talking point on your post, he might have a tough time getting an answer.

My Post:
"If a White man shot a Rotterdam White kid holding a bag of candy...

...
A murder of a local kid who was doing nothing more than holding a bag of candy would, AND SHOULD shake
the entire community... of all political persuasions.
I would assume that the entire board would be upset at a killing of this type by a private citizen who "felt
threatened" as he FOLLOWED the victim and shot him for no apparent reason, except that "he acted suspiciously."

Once again Box knows no facts. A kid holding a bag of candy. How did the kid beat the sh*t out of Zimmerman while holding his bag of candy?

Strange fruit hangs from southern trees. Sounds like the left wants a lynching. I expect that from the left. They really aren't human beings, they are animals.

None of that has been proven, that is what an investigation is for. You've bought into the media and mob rule in this case. There are many unanswered questions. How did Zimmerman get the broken nose and laceration to the back of his head? Why were there grass stains on the back of his shirt? Is the 17 year old witness, who said he saw a man on the bottom of the scuffle in a red shirt (Zimmerman was in red) lying? What will the tox screens of both Zimmerman and Martin reveal? An investigation will answer this, just like it did in the case of the police killing of a young man in a car in Arbor hill.

If the investigation reveals borderline evidence, he will be indicted. And because this case has gotten so much publicity, he should get a change of venue. This has all the makings of OJ Simpson, the photo-negative version. I'm waiting for the clamoring about a biased white jury from the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

Possibly I didn't make myself clear...
I would assume that the entire board, and the entire community would be shocked by a neighborhood watch
patrol who followed an unarmed teen through Rotterdam, then shot him because he was acting suspiciously.
Not those on the right of this board, or those on the left or in the middle... but the entire board...
and the entire community.

In this community, the shooter would have gotten a badge and a pat on the back, lets be honest.  Exspecially right now.

I don't spell check!  Sorry...
If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.
