And if he left it in his pocket, no one MIGHT have died either. The gun didn't jump in his hand and pulled its own trigger.
Guns are an instrument, an effective one, but nothing more. 33% of murders in this country are committed with an instrument other than a gun.

We're discussing the 66% of murders that ARE committed with a gun.

Zimmerman wasn't the same man with out his gun... he would have complained and insulted Martin... but he
never would have confronted Martin WITH OUT HIS GUN.  Zimmerman got his NRA inspired 'nads' on... Macho Hero
Neighborhood Almost a Cop attitude... and Martin died because of it.

You have no idea what he was thinking. but it looks like you already made up your mind about his guilt.
Didn't you say last week you were done with this thread and would let the judicial process proceed?

"Unless something unexpected happens here... I'm done with the Zimmerman/Martin issue also.

Zimmerman has been charged... and will go to trial.  The rest is up to the criminal justice system."

Laughable

The last several posts have been more about Guns than Zimmerman's guilt.

(Remember Saying guns kill people is like saying forks, knives and spoons make you fat?)

Everyone knows that Zimmerman killed Martin... he's confessed to that... but my post was about
whether he would have killed Martin if he was an unarmed Neighborhood Watchman.  With out a gun...
Zimmerman would still be a free man, and Martin would still be alive.
The presence of the gun ruined both men's lives.

But still you continue to post after saying you were done unless something unexpected happened. I didn't think a discussion about guns was that big of a deal.

Guns and cutlery are instruments to accomplish something. Misuse the instrument and bad things can happen.
But that misuse is a human decision. No one witnessed the altercation, so its simply an assumption that no one would not have been hurt. If Zimmerman is telling the truth, he could just as likely suffered brain damage if he didn't end it with a gun.

maybe Zimmerman was being bullied by the hoodies over and over and over again....remember we have those laws for 'feelings'....

bullying laws
hate crime
terrorists
patriot act...

I'm not defending Zimmerman OR Trayvon......that pot of soup they called their neighborhood apparently has bad leadership and it comes from the top down via the
rhetoric podium pucks of our leaders.....we are painting ourselves into a corner....make up laws for 'feelings' and using them for votes is a crime....
everyone is a victim....just wait until national healthcare comes along in full force and HIPPA laws are the gold standard and your psych/drug/MD visits are accessible to the
rating agencies that will decide your value and where they deem you 'fit' in the system so you can collect your microsoft points.....

this is a tragedy and crap like this happens.....but the leadership is pathetic in it's ability to lead...instead they incite fear/weakness/victimization and remove a
persons self awareness via legislation.....under the guise of protection by the protector......

hence the paradox in my post script......

the future is coming

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

~ No one witnessed the altercation, I'm not sure that statement is true.

According to the  "George Zimmerman Affidavit Of Probable Cause", Zimmerman confronted Martin, not the
other way around.  There were many witnesses who heard the incident, and also the 911 tapes as evidence.
Martin was also talking to his girlfriend through much of the incident... and can testify to Martin's conversation.

Had Zimmerman left the police work to the police... had Zimmerman not 'confronted Martin'... noting of note
would have happened.

So the attackers seen it as justice for Trayvon and the neighbors justified it because the victim is white

I saw a dead frog nailed to a fence post, with a sign around his neck saying "Justice for Zimmerman..."
An angry mob must be responsible!

Please, join Trayvon's mother Sybrina in repealing the law that would allow her son Tryavon to smash George Zimmerman's head off the pavement until he is dead without fear of deadly force being used against him.

Zimmeman, the shooter, who pursued unarmed Martin, against police advice, and shot Martin...
But Cicero sees Zimmerman as the VICTIM!  Amazing!
