If you believe the story that has been theorized by the lynch-Zimmerman crowd, Zimmerman followed and provoked the altercation which has nothing to do the with the Stand your ground law.

If you believe Zimmerman's account which states Travvon attacked him as he went back to his care after losing him, its a simple self-defense issue.
