just because the law ALLOWS IT....doesn't make it right......

I only intended to offer an explanation of the difference between a FIRST Deputy Town Clerk and a SECOND Deputy Town Clerk (and Third and Fourth) .... now if the certain Town Board member or anyone else had raised the question - Why do we need a Second Deputy Town Clerk? -- that would have been an appropriate and legitimate question and I - like most residents - would be interested to hear the answer. And to answer someone else's question - the Second Deputy Town Clerk is not a relative .. and to further clarify the First Deputy Town Clerk is not a niece but a more distant relative .. I believe second cousin. |

***************************************************** Just watched the replay of the 2/22 meeting and the above resolution was an interesting item. Before voting on the resolution, RG stated that, earlier that day, he went to the site and apparently the applicant has already begun construction of this "canopy" and the work is about half complete. So the work commenced before Board approval and issuance of a building permit. RG suggested that they table the resolution while it is investigated further. None of the other Board members commented on this....they simply voted in favor of the building permit. The absence of any remarks from the other members is unsettling...what a way to run a town! |

Come on people......favor favor favor...from one of the members of the REGIME plus Cruel Jewel....
this will keep happening......why complain....it was never stopped.....and the law and ordinances of the Town have been broken I would
say 99.99 % ....

Rotterdam hasn't followed their so called building code in over 40 years. I would think that a building code would prevent developments from being built in lands known for drainage problems and we all know how well that was followed. |
