Borst Oil and Tire on Thompson St (behind Bellevue Builders) has closed.  Sign on the door thanking customers and property is for sale!
Their Cobleskill location is still open for business.

Perhaps the owner's desire to sell firearms was not appealing to his family-friendly customer base? The Town discourages more gun dealers setting up shop within its borders and I heartily THANK Sheriff/Supervisor Buffardi for making it clear to gun dealers they are not 100% wanted in this town.......

I was there twice - never had a good experience.

Not a huge loss to Schenectady, IMHO.

Our family did business with them for years -- sorry to see them go.

Sorry to see Steve pulling out of town.  I guess it just goes to show how business-friendly the current regime is.

I would say not, if they are keeping the Cobleskill store open.

closing one spot and just keeping one open could be more like a hobby....esp if one is used to working 60/70/80 hours a week....only having to work 1/2 the time will be 'boring'...just imagine
if they didn't work any of the time....that treadmill can be hard to get off of...depending on how a person is wired....JMHO

I think they have an operation in Clifton Park as well.

Someone told us that it is going to be a restaurant or something like that. Just got out of the oil and tire business.
