The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice,  which includes more than 40 denominations and faith groups
thanked President Obama for new rules in the Affordable Care Act that will allow most women employed in the U.S.
to have the cost of their birth control covered with no co-pay.

Seven religious leaders from the Jewish, Unitarian, Baptist and other faiths addressed a letter to Obama
and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. All are members of the Religious Coalition for
Reproductive Choice, a group that promotes education and issues of reproductive choice.

"As clergy, we are committed to upholding the important goals of reproductive justice and health, empowering
women and men to make decisions about whether and when to have and bear children within their own moral
and religious tradition, and assuring them the means and ability to raise their children in a safe and healthy
environment. Access to reproductive health services recognizes a moral value embraced across the religious
spectrum. We thank you for your decision supporting the fundamental value of reproductive health to women
and families."

Were the satanist bishops there?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

WHY are clergy dominating our politics? I have no use for any of them in our politics, left or right.

I don't think it is that awful that religious organizations express their views on political issues............AS LONG AS.................they are allowed to express their views without condemnation or ridicule whether they are against or for the issues.

Breaking: Obamacare now forcing employer funding for abortions
JANUARY 30, 2012

The Catholic Church is fighting mad with the Obama Administration, and nearly every Catholic sitting in a pew this weekend heard the reasons why.

The Health and Human Services Department recently announced it will require all employers (with few exceptions) to provide health insurance to their employees which includes subsidized contraception, sterilization and coverage for abortion-inducing drugs.

This meant that religious institutions, like Catholic colleges and hospitals, or other Christian institutions would be compelled to violate their conscience by cooperating with that which they believe to be wrong. Currently many of these institutions purchase health-insurance plans which do not provide free coverage of these services.

To give an analogy, it would be like the government mandating that all delis, even Kosher delis, serve pork products and then justifying it by saying that protein is healthy, and many Jews who don’t follow Kosher laws and many non-Jews go to those delis. The law wouldn’t technically ban Jews from owning delis, but it would effectively ban their ability to run them according to their conscience.

The Sebelius decision permits some religious institutions to refuse to provide contraceptive services if they are devoted to
worship and employ and serve people of the same faith.
Other religiously-affiliated nonprofits and employers will be required to offer contraceptive coverage with no co-pays
or deductibles.

For women not to want government involved in what they do with their body and reproductive rights, they seem to cheer when the government uses its power to force private business into providing and paying for the products for their body and reproduction.

health insurance doesn't have to pay for anything it doesn't want to....

birth control and viagra are WHAT KIND OF DRUGS?

come on folks....let's hear it....what kind?

most of the time------ELECTIVE........

and if one thinks their religion is right then dont participate in the program....render unto ceasar that which is ceasars........

here's a buck, go get an abortion

here's a buck, go to a strip club

people are gonna do what they are gonna do.....but your choice is what rules your life....not what I afford you to do....unless I know you personally.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
