I like that part about him paying 'next to nothing' to support SS/medic. Like he could have offered to send in more when he paid his SS on his monthly 941 or his coupon! See, this is how dumb liberals expect everyone to be. Unfortunately through unionized education they have dumbed enough people down that they can make it look like the tax code is not progressive. They don't want people to see that the guy sent in 6 mil to fed taxes. I wonder what a grph would look like showing what a guy like him PAID in taxes vs. what the ordinary person making 55K PAID in taxes in a life time.

But again- if they took ALL of Romney's and Warren's $$$- THAT STILL WOULD NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, they would STILL RUN OUT. So they have to get more from the other 310 million Americans to keep things running!!!!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Good!  If it's propaganda... then which part ISN'T TRUE?

Does it matter?  I'm playing your game of categorically dismissing the information because of the source.  That's another fun game.

BTW...The word propaganda doesn't mean the information isn't true.  It means the information is presented in a way to persuade people to come to the propagandists’ desired conclusion.

Cic is doing his ... "OH YEA... That's what I meant" when called out on his "propaganda" claims.

Cicero has no facts, no data, no science behind his claims... just his opinion... which he considers as good as fact.

Really Shadow??? They HATE them???

I know I don't.  There are a lot of wealthy Americans that to a lot of good for this country... both in their donations
to worthy projects and as leaders for good.
There are also some wealthy Americans who use their wealth to promote poverty, inequality, injustice and greed.
They forward a tax plan that helps the wealthy at the expense of the middle class.  Especially when elected to a position
of power, that group can devastate an entire economy.

he doesn't have to pay into a system that he ISN'T GOING TO USE.......there is a limit that the government says "OK, you make too much, you're off the dole and you no longer pay in."

do we really think Romney will use his medicare bennies????

medicare bennies are little spit balls in their world......

then they should donate if they want to....but dont legislate folks into 'government church givers'....

we ask our government to provide too much....we cry when it's hard....so they make a system(that they were never intended to make) that 'equalises' everyone, when in fact it freakin' complicates...

here's the deal...you keep yours I'll keep mine.....

if you feel like donating to your neighbors sad situation then by all means go ahead, I will do the same.....but to make a political/government machine act like a spirit/soul/conscience/church is not
going to work.....

there will ALWAYS BE POOR FOLK, FOLK IN HARD TIMES, FOLK THAT ARE RICH, FOLKS THAT MORONS, FOLKS THAT ARE NICE, FOLKS THAT ARE MEAN ETC ETC.......

but this 'church called government' is very very very wrong......

Here ya gp Box. Read this by a conservative author- it will help you understand better. This is the true reason to go after the middle class. Michael Kinsley is a true conservative but that should not stop you from learning that the so-called Buffet rule will effect 1 out of 1250 filers.

The Buffett rule isn't about ending the deficit, or balancing the budget, it's about fairness, equity and justice.

If that was true, then Buffett would be talking about the inequity of the 47% of American that don't pay income tax at all.

Those are nice sounding words, but have nothing to do with Obama's Buffett Rule rhetoric.   That is his populist rhetoric to convince the people that even though he get tens of millions from the corporate bankers, he is still "tough" on the rich "fat cats". Amazingly some people believe it.

Most of those who pay no taxes have little or no income... (Unless you're a corporation... Most US corporations pay no tax)
unlike the 1%ers who have the highest income and pay the lowest rate.

eq·ui·ty
the quality of being fair or impartial; fairness; impartiality:

e·qual·i·ty
the state or quality of being equal; correspondence in quantity, degree, value, rank, or ability.

I think you were searching for the word EQUALITY.  The fact you mention the "1%ers" and the level of income shows you are talking about equality because equity is impartial to level of income.
