First we wish ALL businesses success....especially those who try to make it on their own as opposed to the METROPLEX/GILLEN handouts............HOWEVER............There are not enought working folks in schenectady to support these businesses. Wasn't there just an article in the gazetto about the poverty level in schenectady?
With the high taxes and high poverty level..............folks can't afford nuthin'! |

Just checked and BOTH the rldolcevita.com and Facebook sites are working just fine. The Facebook page indicates that the "soft opening" will be on September 25.
So best wishes to Mr. Lauren and his team as they reopen at their new location!!!!!
WHAT...AREN'T YOU GOING TO GO THERE FOR THE OPENING??????? OH MY, then I guess food is not all that great (as you've stated), since you aren't patronizing him. Guess I'll stay away too. |

Interesting, for I still have the site suspended page at 2:21pm. I also cleared my cache and restarted Firefox. The possibility of a server glitch is certainly in play. |

Thank you. Very interesting. I think I'll try accessing it on my laptop in the kitchen. |

Might be a DNS problem....I've had freinds see sites that looked offline to me. Sometimes it takes some time to catch up. |

Thank you once again for your help BuckStrider. I too have experienced what you described. As it turns out after a quick check on another computer, which indeed showed the website as being up, and then rechecking the browser cache here, I determined I am in the process of losing my mind. I thought I had cleared the cache, but quite the opposite was true. Becoming elderly carries with it the more frequent lapse of memory. Thank you all for your help. |

Hey, DV, Has Mr Lauren paid us (not you) taxpayers back yet? You won't comment on that, why not? |

You might want to download something called " CCleaner", from Piriform. It's great, it's free. I run it once a day. It clears out your caches (DNS included), fixes registry problems, controls what programs start up at boot time etc. You only have to set it up once, which involves you deciding what to clean out. When in doubt, just don't check that box. Go through and pick the cookies you want to keep (this site for example) so that you don't have to keep re-entering your password. It will speed up your machine, seriously. If you have any questions, contact me. |

Tommy, thank you very much for taking the time to direct me to CCleaner. I fear that my problems lie with the computer known as my brain rather than a software issue on my trusty old HP, for I have been aware and have used CCleaner for many years. I believe the original incarnation was called "CrapCleaner". Yes, it is indeed a useful and reliable bit of software. I do not use it as often as you, generally once a month. The only issue I have with it, and I'm sure you're aware as well, is that it doesn't completely clean the registry. To do that one must use the "regedit" command and delete the unnecessary registry items manually. Certainly a task that is not for the faint of heart. But as I have related my issue is one of a failing memory. There is I believe a humorous term for my ailment called CRS. I only hope I am not suffering from an early development of dementia. Once again thank you for taking the time to help. It is greatly appreciated. |

Maybe call NYS Tax Dept, inform them of the new address, and have them at the door to collect the receipts for the night in order to give the money back to the taxpayers!
Still has five-figure outstanding warrants
Wonder if he'll attempt to barter for the cost of the SLA license, that's a couple grand a year and the guy has no money and no credit obviously |
