It will be a delightful day, me and my family and my extended family will all be there.   Why don't you learn how to spell, there will be lots of cash rolling in and no computer needed

Oh brother, no wonder his message was hidden

Why coincidental?  Web provider provider probably wouldn't barter for cost of the domain in free dessert!  Suspended happens after quite a period of time of non-payment...not overnight delinquency.

Rusty, from the little knowledge I have of such things, there would be a couple of reasons.

1. The domain name expired as a result of non-payment to the registrar, likewise the hosting company if payment for their services were not received would take the website down.

2. The webhosts servers encountered some sort of difficulty and were inoperable.

Option #1 would in my opinion be the more logical conclusion. In this day and age servers are rarely off-line for any extended period of time, unless the failure was catastrophic.

One other consideration would be that Mr. Loren felt a stand alone website was unnecessary or unaffordable and that he could convey his message with just a Facebook page.

Back to the topic of the thread -- I am looking forward to enjoying some of the BEST Italian food that can be found anywhere OUTSIDE of my own kitchen.. My family humbly agrees with me on the matter.

Just to add to your observations....server is obviusly not down or we would not get page with message; and..."suspended" is good indicator of reason.  As I pointed out in my post, I doubted that domain ower was willing to barter for desserts in lieu of payment.

Just checked and BOTH the rldolcevita.com and Facebook sites are working just fine.  The Facebook page indicates that the "soft opening" will be on September 25.

So best wishes to Mr. Lauren and his team as they reopen at their new location!!!!!
