Oh, did he say he was applying for a job there? We all know that there's more of a chance that any one of the rest of us will be in a plane crash than the chance of DV getting a job.

Why would this restaurant send an e-mail of such nature out to former customers? Do they require customers to provide their e-mail addresses as a condition for getting served there?
What happened to the former employees? Is the job market so great in the city that they were quickly scooped up by other employers?
E-mail to former customers? Isn't this business advertising job openings the normal way, i.e., newspaper, DOL job service, and methods such as that job bank that Channel 6 has?

Nobody cares but 2 DEM morons. In the meantime, Brandon's has open on Chrysler Ave and Marotta's on lower Union to packed houses. Without a nickle in Metrograft largess.

As far as Dolce Vita......as long as they are not taking taxpayer's money via METROPLEX/GILLEN......or getting a huge tax break..........and they are doing their best to open for business and survive.........than I hope them the best. And so should everyone else!!
It's the businesses that are tax free while the taxpayers are struggling...........that should be an issue! imho of course!

Traditionally the Times Union’s poll is extremely biased against Schenectady establishments.. The wonderful people at Villa Italia produce world – class pastries and baked goods the likes of which are to die for.. Bobby Mallozzi HIMSELF hand fashions the product! Anti – Schenectady bias is so sadly prevalent among the voters — they need to get OUT of Albany County more — and experience all the glory that the Renaissance of Downtown Schenectady has to offer!

Indeed the wonderful Mallozzi Family should NOT have been left that list by any means….. The delightful establishments they operate throughout the region are to die for……..shame on the readers for NOT recognizing La Famiglia or the Italian-American Community Center’s spectacular Treviso – - either one would be far and away the GREATEST Italian experience on this side of the Massachusetts State Line.. I personally think the amazing Robert Mallozzi is one of the greatest culinary experts in the Nation if not the World – - and once more the masses have FAILED to recognize his genius and generosity. All the while he is sought out by the greatest leaders and celebrities in America for his food…..

Hello Everyone, I Pray all is well, The Carpeting was installed at the NEW DOLCE VITA!!!, IT LOOKS FABULOUS!!!, The place looks larger now the carpeting is in, all that's Left in the main room is the Dance Floor & Bar Top, then.....we move to finish the Kitchen area Next!! and we ARE DONE and ready for Business!!!!!!!!!!!

So, are they now planning for a Thanksgiving 2012 opening? I haven't seen a date since "3 weeks after Mothers Day" was discussed earlier in this thread
This guy clearly has no idea how to run a business. If this place opens at all I doubt it will remain open for more than a year. Nothing against him, but common, still not open?
