Hey, I have no problem wit the place. If it opens, fine....under ONE condition....it is NOT done with taxpayers' money and it is NOT given a property tax exemption which then makes the financially struggling homeowners cover the cost ot the taxers

LDV was supposed to reopen within a month according to the DEM stooge here. Nothing is happening, nothing will happen. It's just like waiting for Fat Morris to finally pay a fair share PILOT or getting a first tax cut from any local government. As usual DVR/SB/Hamburger is totally wrong.

The restaurant, which closed in late December, was supposed to reopen by Valentine's Day ACCORDING TO THE OWNER/OPERATOR.

Dolce Vita is moving and plans to reopen in February. The building that it leased for 3 years is being sold by the owner of the building. Dolce Vita was always a great restaurant and it will remain so when it reopens in a new location.

As usual. DVR/SB/Hamburger can't stop stepping in it and making a total fool of himself. Valentines Day was almost 7 weeks ago-they did not open. They will not open in April either. Who cares anymore? 3 excellent Italian places have opened; Brandons on Chrysler and 2 on Van Vranken. Another closed on Erie Blvd who also promised to reopen "soon". No one wants to admit their place is finished. For DVR/SB/Hamburger to tie this into his phony renaissance crap is another new look even for him.

See, you don't even know that I know Randy personally from my days as a local musician and do hope he gets things moving. I don't have to like his restuarant or food to wish him success.
