Your post...
~ "There is only ONE religion founded and started by God, through Jesus Christ. " ~
Describes the views in Mr Spencer's Letter to the Editor...
I know what is right and you don't...
and ...
an intolerance to any other view.

No, I simply stated an undisputed FACT. If you or anyone else chooses to believe in "no God", or another religion (founded by man, not God), then so be it - we'll still pray for you.

Your "undisputed fact"...
~ "There is only ONE religion founded and started by God, through Jesus Christ. " ~
...is not a "Fact" it's an opinion.

(Since most of the world disagrees with your Undisputed "FACT", I don't know how you can consider your
"fact/opinion" to be "undisputed".

(Roughly 33% of the world is Christian, the rest of the world (67%) would most likely fall in the "disputed" group.)

There's a difference between "Christianity" and "Catholcism".

Undisputed fact ... prove otherwise.  Prove there is another established religion, founded by God, through Jesus Christ.  I dare ya.

Sounds like MT is getting desperate!

Does gravity exist?
Yes I can prove it.
Does water have weight?
Yes again, I can prove it.

Is "there is only ONE religion founded and started by God, through Jesus Christ"? (as you propose)
That is YOUR statement.  You say that this statement is a FACT, not just an opinion.
So Prove YOUR Statement.

Your statement:
"There is only ONE religion founded and started by God, through Jesus Christ."
... is an opinion.  You are welcome to your opinion, but it is not a FACT, and by far not an "Undisputed Fact".

Your childish challenge:
"Prove there is another established religion, founded by God, through Jesus Christ.  I dare ya."
Why not a double dare... or even a double dog dare???

I don't argue that one religion is any better than another.  To me they are all equally foolish.  A Muslim extremist
is just about as dangerous as a Christian extremist, and just as bigoted.

theory vs faith

no argument there

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Hey box,
good questions ya raise there.
Really what is this Sainthood thing all about?
It kinda like a non secular nobel prize.
They give out not because the person actualy does what the prize is for like obama and the peace prize or any other list
of idols to worship.
Some arbitrary board sitting around a table.
They say hey man wave an idea to promote how we gonna do it?
Lets give trophies and medals, ribbons and things,
Thank God for good things,
Hmmm why only certain good things why is he so selective in doing good,
Why did he let this happen but not that?
He didnt , and he doesnt,
we do or we dont
The model doesnt work all knowing all loving but selective in who he saves?
not in his DNA.
He has given us everything we need, something is wrong with the model.

We didnt come this far to get this far.

I don't care who worships what or who. But I do believe, as even atheists do, that ALL religions set a moral code to live by, they take care of the needy, they support many organizations and missions, they reverence the dead, they honor life etc.....And yet it is all up to the 'individual' on how much and/or how far they choose to live their belief.

I was raised catholic...but do not practice catholicism today...by choice! If I were born in Iraq...I'd probably be a devout muslim. If I were born in india...I'd probably be a devout hindu...etc.....

But I was born in American and raised by catholic parents, who too, are no longer catholic. I believe that 'location' is a primary factor in what religion, if any, you choose to follow.

Debating religion and a person's religious beliefs is like pi$$ing in the wind...IT IS PERSONAL!! imho

IMO DItcher, If God existed he could have done a whole lot better on his "favored species" humans.

Every donation funded group needs a 'hook'... you know, a fund raising tool to attract the masses, and make
them part with their hard earned dollar.
Christians have a few good 'hooks' in their closet.
First of all, Threats.  Eternal damnation seems a little harsh for eating meat on a Friday or sex between consulting
adults... but the "threat" of Mortal Sin and Eternal Damnation is a good one.
"Either join our club or burn in Hell"... a catchy slogan.
Then there is Miracles.  If your club can cure the sick, part the Seas, and even raise the dead... there must be
some thing to this religion.  Magic is entertaining, but Miracles... down right amazing!

The twin hooks of Damnation and Miracles, is probably worth billions of dollars in donations and volunteer time.

I think you'd get a few to disagree with this statement Bumble:
~ "But I do believe, as even atheists do, that ALL religions set a moral code to live by..." ~
Many atheists believe there is more evil promoted by religion than good.
Some religions set a moral code that includes stoning women who have sex with out marriage.  Not my view of a
good moral code to live by.
Other religions have murdered millions in order to convert them to their group... "Join us or die." Forced recruiting
under pain of death is not a 'moral code to live by.

IMO, Humans have a moral code inborn in them, weather they are exposed to religion or not.

yep,
all true box,

They have done that over centuries.
They have hidden from us the fact that God is Spirit and you are in direct contact right now.
They have convince us we have no connection to the spiritual unless we follow certain rituals and practices.
Just like politicians, university presidents, any one who wear a costume, robes and tassles to prove their authority to be maker of law.

They try to tell us we are crazy but weare not.
The Kingdom of heaven is among us not floating out in the clouds somewhere in the neighborhood of make believe.
That is why the nail anyone who proclaims the good news of God with us.
we need no moderator between God and Man and Wombman.
So you are spot on with your questions but dont throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Look for youself within you God will reveal himself to you in a way that no other can recieve.
He is not going to burn anyone in a lake of fire.
Its not about the 'afterlife"
It is about present life.
Not rewards out in the swee bye and bye but living and active in the here and now.

Pope Benedixt XVI announced on Saturday that he will create seven new saints including the first Native
American, a 17th-century Mohawk girl named Kateri Tekakwitha, on October 21.

Kateri will be the first native American saint from the United States, according to the Vatican, which has attributed
a miracle to her, a requirement for sainthood.
Known as Catherine Tekakwitha, she is revered by Catholics for her deep devotion and courage in the face of
suffering.
She was born in 1656 in Ossernenon, today’s Auriesville in upstate New York, on the banks of the Mohawk River,
survived smallpox and war between Indian tribes and settlers, and died in Canada at the age of 24.

(This is a great promotional opportunity! I wonder if 'rights' to the name have already been purchased?
Think of it...
Nike presents: "Air Kateris"... "With a pair of our new Air Kateris you can jump higher than a Saint!"
I need to call my agent right away!)
