But he did have over 500 tons of 'yellowcake' uranium that he wasn't supposed to have, in violation of the U.N

I am also waiting for this oil that has yet to show up from our glorious conquest of Iraq.

The physical oil argument is a lame excuse although if people looked deeper there was an issue with Saddam wanting to ditch the dollar for Euro's. If the dollar which is the reserve currency in the world for trading in oil was eliminated our prices here would have sky rocketed. Interesting to note Gaddafi was also thinking about moving away from the dollar and wished gold to be used, coincidence?

Buck,
GWB lost the oil war.  Like his baseball team, his oil company and his presidency... he failed at everything he did.  It's too bad that
others had to pay the price for his mistakes.

The yellow cake I've addressed previously.  It was known by the US Govt and most others from the 1980's when Israel bombed
an Iraqi nuke power plant.  The yellowcake has been stored there ever since.

Yellowcake uranium is a commonly traded commodity used for nuclear power generation. It is not enriched and cannot be used
without first going through a complicated enrichment process, he said, but because of the unstable nature of Iraq, the United States and the Iraqi government decided it should be moved out of that country. Iraq has no nuclear power generating plants.

NO, NO, NO,,,Gaddafi was a terrorist thug!!!  This was a just war, it was waged by Democrats...The reason to bomb the sh*t out of Libya and kill U.S. citizens is as pure as the wind driven snow.  It had nothing to do with GREED, OIL, or RESOURCES.  These are Democrats, U.S. led bombings in Libya emancipated all those wonderful rebels so they can start their own little democratic America.TIC

Clinton was (as was Daddy Bush) quite content with keeping Saddam bottled up in a little part of the world as he faded into history.  He had NO MODERN WEAPONS SYSTEMS since before the first gulf war.  He had difficulty selling his oil, and keeping control of
his country.  Saddam would have faded into history as one more tired dictator.
Containing Saddam was working and was all that was necessary... unless... Unless you wanted to grab Iraqi Oil.

Michigan Militia Hutaree Right Wing Terrorist, To Plead Guilty

Joshua Clough, one of nine members of the Hutaree Michigan Militia arrested by federal authorities in the spring of 2010, will be the      first militia member to plead guilty.
Hutaree members allegedly "planned to kill an unidentified member of local law enforcement and then attack the law enforcement       officers who gather in Michigan for the funeral."

Another defendants, Jacob Ward, has been declared incompetent to stand trial. The cases against the other defendants is set to go      to trial on Feb. 7.

The Hutaree Militia probably killed the exact same number of innocent Americans that Timothy McVeigh killed before he succeeded in    the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Luckily, these Right Wing terrorists were apprehended before they implemented their plan to assassinate police officers, then attack    and kill the police mourners at the funeral.

Maybe Buck would appreciate the danger this group presents if he or one of his family were one of the Hutaree militia's intended          targets.

Welcome to the Minority Report.  Fighting pre crime in a city or town near you.  The police are becoming more and more violent as Box pointed out with the occupy Oakland video, and he is concerned about an armed militia in rural Michigan.  I don't know about anybody else, but I'm more concerned about the violent police state than a tiny militia.  I guess to box, the power of the state is just when they are crushing those who he doesn't agree with philosophically.

How many innocent people have our own police killed or wounded without being charged with a crime?  The citizens have been conditioned to accept and justify state sponsored violence.  After all, it's for our own safety.  Until you are on the receiving end of a taser or like in Oakland, a tear gas canister.

Pre Crime???
HUH.  The Crime Of Conspiracy to commit Murder of a large number of police officers,  for some on this board is not a serious offense
As usual, the agenda drives the opinion.
