I went into that maze once and actually started to get a tad fearful I would never find my way out
I saw a guy putting out his garbage and asked his help he laughed and said I am not the only one. He was most helpful so if anything the folks living there are nice.
I never even attempt to go there if I can help it.

Coldbrook was a product of mid-20th century suburban planning ... lots of tiny cookie-cutter houses on meandering streets.
What is worse IMHO - is the fact that Rotterdam's network of main roads (Curry, Altamont, Guilderland, Westcott, Helderberg, Duanesesburg, Princetown, Mariaville, Dunnsville, Giffords Church, Hamburg , Burdeck and Campell) have remained virtually unchanged .. except for being paved .. in 160 or so years. The biggest change was when Westcott Road was cut in two by the NYS Thruway in the late 1950's -- until then you could actually drive from Curry Road down Wescott to Gifford's Church Road.
Some thought should have been given to building a "west side connector" from Route 7 to County Line Road (and County Line Road has been below state standards (width) for at least a half century) --- I don't think it would be feasible to build one now.

well, it's almost halloween and the aliens will be making their stop...I'll ask them to leave maps or atleast their FB invite....then when everyone is walking/driving around coldbrook we can contact the aliens....
