heard at the donut shop today that Buffarti appeared to be applying for a public safety job and very robotic. FDG had the inside goods on the budget which gave him an advantage on the specifics. BM was more well rounded, speaking of smaller government,such as spending taxpayer's money to support businesses aka picking the winners and losers as opposed to letting 'competition' be the deciding factor as one example.
Villano and Tommaselli took the TB debate by a landslide. As far as Excusi!! We were told that he said he should be elected because he just got a raise for doing a good job at Price Chopper! WC said the TB needs to be a team.
This seems more in line with gazette. Where is the video of this nonsense? You guys have video of everything Heard MV simply ignored questions and just rambled on about being civil ( which I would assume means that he would sit there and do as he is told) on the board or something. Also heard about price chopper comments..................... |

Looking at the OSM schedule and it looks like it'll be on channel 18 10-11pm tonight, 6-7pm tomorrow and Sat. 10-11pm, not sure if it's the Rotterdam one or not..........just says LWV meet the candidates forum.... HTH  |

Today at the donut shop they mentioned how Tomaselli's closing remarks were the best. He mentioned the NNTP/rep guys and girls, McGarry specifically. The folks at the donut shop said it showed solidarity and commitment not only for the taxpayers but also for each other. They thought it was a class act!

All 3 candidates provided solutions -- they answered the questions --- we need to expand the tax base, we need to put in sewers/infrastructure to attract business -- and we need to end the legal dispute with GE over property taxes. Also, I would ask you to show a tiny bit of respect by NOT using mocking terms for a candidate's name .. of course .. I know you won't show that respect because you don't have the common decency and social grace that God gave a house fly. |

One got promoted at the Chopper and one goes to church? Great qualifications. No working together crew mates bragged on raising property taxes in excess of the Cuomo tax cap. As far as Town Clerk, AC would be a huge improvement. She never worked at the Senoir Gossip Center or City Hall. |

It is clear that the GOP/NNTP candidates were ill-prepared for the candidate forum. It says volumes about the poor leadership within the Rotterdam Republican Committee.
As for the Rotterdam's Worst Party (pool party) half the candidates didn't show up physically and the other half showed up but just gave the voters more good reasons to VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE. |
